Have 2 night BW view during F&W but now DH is thinking of taking a 4 night cruise on the Dream. Don't have time to do both (school schedules). What to do????

Is it 2042 already? ;)

Do the cruise next year. You'll have your membership for many years to come.

I don't have a wait list so, nothing at stake,:) I would pick the 4 night cruise. That is, if the points are not compromised in any way.

Bobbi:)

Thanks for the feedback. We are definitely leaning toward the cruise. Still have a bit of time before our 31 day window for cancelling approaches.

If you've done the F&WF before then I'd recommend taking the cruise :boat:. We've completed 10 Disney cruises (5 combining WDW with the F&WF). The cruises are a wonderful/relaxing vacation. But watch out, like many others, once you cruise with Disney you may get hooked. We did & have another 4 cruises scheduled. ::yes:: p.s. We've sailed with our DDs & with out.

Or you might be glad to get off the boat. Did one cruise and that was enough for me.

i would wait until you could take a longer cruise. we found embarkation and disembarkation days rather hectic, leaving you with only 3 days of relaxation.

can you possibly add 2 WDW nights? (probably elsewhere, as it is unlikely you would get BWV)

I agree. I dislike those days as well. Not a huge cruiser....and I can't cruise except for the most expensive times due to being a teacher. I love F&W...but only 2 days....Hmmmmmmm. That's a tough choice.

I love cruising, and the 4 night cruises have a day at sea usually, and that day, plus the CC day in my opinion would trump F&W! The other nights are just gravy.

We had an option to go to F&W year or so ago....we opted to wait and do the cruise. I had never done a cruise before, and I AM HOOKED. It was the perfect mix of fun for adults and fun for kids. The Dream was everything I expected.

If you wont lose the points, try the Dream.

My DS is off from school for Fall Break. We have 2 nights (so 3 days) @ BWV with BW view booked right now. Never tried BW view. We are FL residents and go to Disney about 5 times/year. We cruise when my DS is out of school & a great deal is available.

We got a great deal on 4 nights on the Dream last year. We all loved it. Got a great FL resident rate last year that made it an easy choice to give it a try!

We became DVC members this year so we booked BWV when the dates opened up.

There were some GTY rates last week but they were gone quickly & we did not act fast enough.....kind of holding out for another great FL resident rate. My DH said if we can get similar pricing to last year, then we are cruising. Have a couple more weeks before my 31 day window to cancel DVC room. We will be happy doing either. My DM is joining us either way & she has never been on a cruise. It would be a real treat for her.

If we do BWV, my DH & I can do Jellyrolls & such while my mom is able to stay with my DS.

I kind of feel whatever is meant to be will be & either will be fun!

CC is the best- total paradise! We tried Atlantis last year. It was OK but rather save the $$ & have better time on the boat.
