Hi All!

For the first time I am leaving from Miami (March 2020) and I am looking at hotels for pre-cruise. Normally I would book my pre-cruise stay through Disney, I do this for piece of mind as I am traveling with my mom who is older plus they arrange transportation from the airport to hotel then hotel to port then port to airport. I am looking at the three hotels DCL offers/suggests for Miami; Marriott Stanton South Beach, Four Seasons Miami and EB Hotel Miami. I don't know much about these hotels and have looked at their websites and also another review site and I am still confused. Any thoughts or suggestions? I normally don't have a problem deciding but for some reason this time I am.

Thank You for your help and suggestions.

Jennifer

I am potentially looking at sailing from Miami in April and have provisionally booked the Marriott at Biscayne Bay. I have never been to Miami but the location looked great with a view of the Port and I believe the front desk will organise transfers if required.
It’s also a walkable distance if you fancy it too.
Following for other suggestions 😀

We sailed out of Miami last year (not on DCL) and stayed at the the Biscayne Bay Marriott. Liked it very much. Nice to look out your window and see the port and the various ships.

I've stayed at the Stanton and it's really nice. Amazing location too (right on the bear and near the Pier) and a short walk from many nice restaurants.

I have not stayed at the Marriott but I've stayed at the Epic and ... Honestly, the Biscayne Bay area is amazing. :)

So, one hotel that frequently comes up is the Comfort Suites Miami Airport North. You may want to consider it because they definitely do have transportation (free) airport to hotel, hotel to port, and you can pay for a port to hotel transport for $10pp on the way back (and then I assume you could take their free airport shuttle back). Oh and they offer a free breakfast From the convenience aspect of it, it's hard to beat. And the price isn't bad. However, it's not the greatest of hotels. It's a solid 2.5* hotel, in my opinion (though it tends to get fairly good reviews). And the hotel to port shuttle is first come first serve, i.e. if you arrive in the evening the day before, you may find you're on either a very early or a rather late shuttle.

I have clients on a March DCL sailing from Miami, and when I called, the two hotels they were using were the Embassy Suites Miami Airport and the Four Seasons Miami. We ended up booking the Embassy Suites not through DCL because of a rooming challenge. The hotel offers a free shuttle from the airport, which is nice.
