I would like to bring my allowed 6 beers but do they have to be in a certain package or can they be individual in a bag?

Also I made a magnet for our door with 2 rare earth magnets (approx. 1.26 inch wide in size) which are very strong and it also has battery operated led lights. Do I need to pack the handmade wooden magnet in my carry on or is it okay to pack in my “checked” luggage?

Yes, you can carry the beers on in a bag. I recently carried a few bags of canned soda and fruit juice in glass containers onto the Fantasy about a week and a half ago. They aren't picky, as long as you carry them on.

The magnets can be packed in your checked luggage.

Thank you! I was worried that if the beers are not in their original cardboard packaging they’d have an issue with them. I plan to put the cans in a plastic bag or something to keep them from jostling around in my book bag. Thank you again.

Yes, I used grocery bags, so no worries about type of bag.

Figured I make more than enough threads and I'd piggyback here - but I know I can't use magnets on the outer doors in Concierge can I use them on the inside?

Regular magnets should work on Wonder/Magic concierge doors. Supposedly neodymium magnets work on the outside of the concierge doors on Dream/Fantasy (I have never personally tested this). Not sure about regular magnets on the inside of concierge doors on Dream/Fantasy, since I don’t know if the wood veneer is on the inside too. I’m sure someone else that has sailed concierge will know!

I have put mine in those wine bags (JetBag) They are the bags that soak up liquid. I am not too crazy with my carry on luggage but you never what can happen! I have also wrapped mine up in plastic grocery bags and then in ziplock bags. They aren't picky about how you package them just how much you bring onboard.
