Hi All, Maza's DH here. Here's a first attempt at a name for the cruise. I don't think it is quite there yet, but lets see what everyone else can make from it.

It looks good. However, we won't see a glacier quite like that. I'll see what pics of Sawyer Glacier or Skagway I have that might work for a background.

I think that sounds great! Maybe Klondike Bars can be our official snack food! I love the picture too - whatever they said about glaciers makes sense to me since I don't know much about them. I vote yes!

We're on board!! I've always wanted to take an Alaskan cruise with my 2 DD's but thought they'd be bored on another cruise line...thank you Disney!!
Our travelling party is me, DH & 2 DD's (18 & 14...at time of cruise). My oldest will be turning 19 on the cruise!
My friend and her family are also coming with us, she will be with her DH and 2 DD's (13 & 12). We are in cabins 7018 & 7016 and have early dinner.
I have to go back and read this thread now....just wanted to check in and say HI

Hi! I'm Nancy, my DH is Dan. We are retirees and will be traveling alone - well at least not with any family members but we will be with friends Joanne and Roger. We are from Maine, about a s far away as you can get and still be in the US! Just getting to Vancouver will be an adventure! Anyway, welcome!

it does look like we will have alot of teens with us...lets hope they dont move the goalposts about getting into the Aloft...our youngest DD was gutted when they changed it to 14 on the Magic this year! surely by 15 she should be old enough!

Busy looking for a winter Mickey cartoon graphic...anyone point me in the right direction...kinda thinking of Mickey in a Inuit Parka, or something!

Klondike Kruisers works for me ( even if i do shudder at the mis spelling of cruisers, but a bit of poetic licence i suppose!)
btw..what is a Klondike Bar ?

A klondike bar is a lot like a MIckey bar, but square and just as yummy!

I agree about "Kruisers" but certainly everyone will know it's to be cute and not an actual misspelling . . .

If we get a little more consensus I will change the thread title: What about

"DCL Klondike Kruisers" August 23, 2011 (I don't think we need the 7 night Alaska heading if we are Klondikers, right???)

BTW, if you type Klondike too many times, it starts looking really strange

We're in for the 8/23/11 sailing as well. We live in Ewing, NJ - it's me, DH, DS13, DD11 (at time of sailing). We're so excited!
