I agree with Mic about table mates. I had some wonderful ones on the EBTA.

To the person who posted about sailing without kids on Disney. I traveled alone on DCL and loved it. I would do it again.

Nope, ordering Palo in your room is only a Roy/Walt suite perk. Those of us in "steerage" suites can order from the dining rooms in our room, NOT Palo. We can also order full breakfasts.

We do late dining because we do not have kids (at least not age wise). Sometimes we act like kids or at least the guys do.

We like late, at least in the warm climate got more pool time!!! I did find the one time we did early I ate less with out the 5pm snack of those yummy chicken fingers!!!!!

She's staying in the Walt suite I believe. They can order Palo to be served in their cabin. One of the perks of the Walt and Roy suites on board.

We have been on two DCL cruises with kids and five without- needless to say they are jealous!!! But that's what happens when you grow up and move out. Our last family trip was a Holland America cruise in 2009. We still had a ball.

We are trying to plan Christmas in Germany with the one that is sattioned over there. Hopefully his brother can get the time off and join us.

we also have late dinning and always have. We have taken the kids on many disney cruises and this will be our third disney cruise without them. we are looking forward to this trip.

Lori, I think that's a concierge thing, not a suite thing per se. I seem to remember Mindy mentioning the ability to do that....but again, I'm in steerage so I may be hallucinating....

we are joining you for this cruise We are also cruising the same trip the week before, I found out at the weekend that DH had actually booked it B2B but wanted to keep it a surprise - but he couldn't hold his salt any longer

Ok I best introduce the cast:
First there is the wonderful DH - Rob, who books all of our cruises along with the surprises(this is not the first time he has surprised us with a B2B or even just a cruise)

Next there is Me - Jo, who only has to deal with the packing, everything else is taken care of for me - just like having my own conceierge

DD - Holly aged 9 - a real book worm, Harry Potter know-it-all(we call her our Hermione) and a full on customer in the kids clubs on board the ships - she just loves the place and breaks her heart everytime we have to say goodbye.

DS - Evan aged 7 - another book worm, also loves HP but is a typical boy into Ben 10, transformers etc... He too loves the kids clubs.

So that is us. We live in the UK not too far from London. We discovered DCL a few years back when DH booked a 4 nighter as a surprise after a 2week stay in Orlando. I knew about the cruise the day we flew out to the states but the children didn't know until we got to PC and they saw the beautiful ship - what an experience that was and we have never looked back. here is our cruise history:

1st cruise - Wonder - Bahamas
2nd cruise - Magic - Keywest route - Just DH and I
3rd Cruise - Wonder - NYE cruise - Bahamas
4th & 5th - Magic round the Med B2B ( another surprise add on)
6th - MV Dream

Still to come
7th & 8th Wonder - Alaska B2B
9th & 10th Magic Christmas and NY 2011 B2B (a surprise for the kids - they know about the NY but not Christmas)
11th - PLATINUM = MV Fantasy

Summer 2012, DH has booked another cruise but I have no idea which ship, which Itinarary etc yet, all I know is that we are escaping the Olympics back home

Do I still have time to decide if we want to join the FE? I have just about got organised for the week before but don't know if I can manage a whole new group too! Look forwrad to meeting some of you around the ship.

Welcome Jo!!! We'll also be sailing on the Maiden Voyage of the Fantasy with you!!!! My kids are a bit older than yours, DD 13 and DS 10. We'll definitely have to try to meet up, one more familiar face on the Fantasy. Another family in our sailing party is also on the Fantasy with us, so we'll all have to try to get together!
