DCL has updated the app. Countdown is no longer boring!

My iPhone did the same overnight. No need to delete.

I was impatient to get the cute new screen, so I was "rushing" my phone which likely would have been ready to update this morning.

Mine is all updated! I too didn't wait for the automatic one and hit update so I could see it sooner! I do like the new countdown. At least it's not quite as boring as before!

The suitcase i still awesome! If your phone is older than 3 years then it likely no longer supports certain apps and features. Companies get more money out of us by no longer supporting and sending us updates so we're forced to upgrade our devices. Even Microsoft has done this with their operating systems. My silly dentist still uses Windows XP which came out in 2001 and Microsoft pulled the plug on it years ago.

A few people have mentioned that they just downloaded the app for the first time so I wanted to upload a photo of how the previous countdown looked aka the bland monstrosity!
