OK, last time we went on a Disney cruise, we didn't buy 1 alcoholic beverage; frankly, we didn't even want to know how much they even were, as we were on a tight budget. This time, it's not that big of a deal. So,

1.) About how much do they run? Everything from a beer, to a Konk Kooler and the like, to a rum & coke.....And, I know it includes tip, so how much is it when it shows up on the bill? (Budget or not, I would not be happy o spend $9+ on a single drink!)

2.) What's the deal with the glass? Are they all served in glasses you can keep? Do you just pay if you keep the glass?

3.) Details about 2 for 1 deal - is it just on CC, and is it all day or just for a specific time period? And, what drinks does it include? I am going on a CC double dip, so, I am hoping this happens both times we are there!

Thanks for your help!!

Drinks - for drink of the day they are served in either the souvenier cup or a regular one - you will pay more if it's in a souvenier cup - I usually tell the server that I want a regular glass otherwise they automatically bring it in the souvenier cup - the only exception is when the guys have the trays of pre-made drinks. I think they run the $5 range.

My dh only drinks Capt Morgan (considered top shelf) & dt. coke & I think those ran $6-7 range. These "regular" drinks just come in regular glasses.

As for billing, when they serve you they give you the slip to sign, I think it shows the drink total & the tip added on. The prices I mentioned are as I remember them total (as in with tip added on)

If you reuse your souviener cup, they only charge you $3.95 for the drink of the day, and supposedly you get a bit more.

Conched Out Bar on CC has 2 for 1 on ANYTHING, but it has to be the same drink, from 1-2. Its not advertised on the map anymore. The DJ will announce it, but you can't really hear him unless you are close by. The two Mojitos we got cost right about $7.50 total.

Most drinks are in the $5-$9 range.

My husband had the souvenier pre-paid refillable beer mug. A refill was about $5. After your first refill they give you a token so you can continue to get the cheap refills without carrying that large mug around. For your very last refill, tell the bartender and they give you a clean empty mug to take home.
As far as other drinks go, all my blended drinks and cocktails were served in regular glasses. I never noticed any other souvenier glasses except the beer mugs. Again the blended drinks and cocktails were around $5 each. Our bar bill was usually just over 11 but that included the gratuity. We also usually added in $1.
