UPDATE WEDNESDAY 28 JULY
Thanks to @Jules334 for this new info from DCL

A new update for those who are about to cruise. I got an email from DCL earlier, May be of interest to those who have not yet received it:

We look forward to welcoming you aboard and want to share some important information about your cruise.

At this time, we have adjusted the show order and increased capacity in the Walt Disney Theatre to eliminate the need to reserve a seating time for the performance prior to sailing. Guests will now be able to view Disney Dreams – An Enchanted Classic during one of three scheduled performances on a specific day during the sailing. Guests are free to attend their preferred performance time.

Once onboard, Guests will see the performances listed as an activity in the Disney Cruise Line Navigator app and may attend the most convenient show time for their party. You may even attend a second performance if you wish. Any previously reserved performance will be removed from your plans prior to sailing.

In addition, Guests 18 years of age and older no longer need to pre-reserve a time to utilize the Fitness Center. If you pre-reserved a time in the Fitness Center, know that it will also be removed from your plans. Specialized classes in the Fitness Center will continue to be available for reservations onboard the ship. Face coverings are required when entering and leaving the Fitness Center, but are not required when actively working out.

We have also eliminated the onboard virtual queue to access the Goofy Pool Deck Area and AquaLab Deck Areas. Guests will now join a physical queue for the pools and water play areas. Please see a Crew Member on deck for assistance.

As a reminder, physical distancing measures in our terminals and areas of our ships such as upper decks, dining rooms, food and beverage locations, lounges, theaters, walkways, elevators, pools, queues and other common spaces are in place. Signage throughout the ship reminds Guests and Crew to practice physical distancing.

For additional information about your Disney Magic at Sea sailing, please visit the Know Before You Go section of our website.

We appreciate you sailing with us and hope you enjoy this added flexibility during your sailing.

Sincerely,

The Cast and Crew
Disney Cruise Line

UPDATE SATURDAY 24 JULY
The virtual queue for the family pool area has now been removed.
Brand new information from this new Vlog at 10.40

Brand new information thanks to @Joshua Kelso who is updating live from the Magic

Update on the Rainforest Room, it's back to $29 per person, party of up to five, for 45 minutes but I did confirm that they did not allow mixed groups, so if for example of my wife and I book a slot, no one else will be allowed in during your time.

UPDATE THURSADY 24 JUNE
Thanks to @Joshua Kelso
Proving Your Vaccination Status For Disney Magic At Sea UK Cruises

UPDATE SATURDAY 12 JUNE Online Check in Procedures
thanks to @dancingtodisney

Two key things to have to hand before you start:

1. A clear photo of your passport / ID
2. A clear photo of yourself from shoulders up (like a passport photo)

Both had to be uploaded along with ID details, information about how you were arriving from the cruise and where you travelling to once off the cruise.

I got a port arrival time of 12.45pm, that was the earliest slot available but I'm not sure if that was the earliest possible time, I didn't see any unavailable times if that makes sense.

UPDATE FRIDAY 30 APRIL
Online and general booking is now open.
All prices include Tax, Fees and Port Expenses
Prices are listed for Inside, Oceanview, Verandah and Concierge for each cruise

UPDATE TUESDAY 13 APRIL
There are rumours circulating on social media that USA based Travel Agents will not be able to book these cruises. Thats not true, thanks to CarolnyU for getting correct information from John, co owner of Dreams Unlimited Travel

John has replied immediately and reassured me.
John has communicated with both DCL and his agents and although DCL are not bringing on additional agents to deal with the travel agents there will be a US number they can use.
Also he said that all his agents are very well prepared to work at these very early hours due to the time difference and stay up as long as it takes to get the job done.
Of course he did stress that this whole thing is unchartered waters!
So I’ve decided to stick with Dreams as I’ve used them for many years and so I need to continue to have faith in them.

That's a clever way to get some sailings in outside the U.S./port restrictions. I'd do that if I was a UK resident. I wonder what the pricing will be?

Ive been hearing rumours of this for a while, but it looks like this UK travel agent made it public before Disney. I'm guessing Disney will announce next week, once the summer 2022 opening week crazyness dies down. Its a great way for Disney to test out all the new procedures and changes. Going by what I'm seeing for the other cruiselines who have announced UK only sailings, the demand is huge, as there is a big push by The UK Government for staycations and they are really discouraging international / European holidays.

If it was pulled I cant decide if we should leave this open..? I edited the title for now.

thanks, I wasnt sure what way to edit the title :)

If you click on the 3 dots to the upper right of your first post where it says #1 do you have the option there? It is where I see it, but that *may* be a mod only thing. I know as the OP you can edit it, I'm just not sure exactly where it would be either. ^^;

Yup. Looks like the TA jumped the gun on that. Sounds like cruises to nowhere and that sounds good to me. They could do the same here in the US, vaccinated people only on a cruise to Castaway Cay and back or leave Port Canaveral and just sail around. I'm up for that. :)

Castaway Cay would only work if the Bahamian government gave them the OK.

Interesting! It would seem a vaccination requirement is conspicuously missing from that information. Are vaccines required by other lines doing UK-resident-only cruises? I thought so, but admittedly I've only half paid attention.

My guess is they will price it pretty close to normal rates. Time will tell.

The wording is interesting.

P & O, Princess and Cunard are requiring vaccinations. The UK at this moment does not have any plans for vaccinating under 18's so Disney can not require under 18's to have a vaccine. If Disney want the family market for these cruises, then they will have to require a negative PCR test for under 18's. It will depend on what their research tells, them, if they feel they will get the capacity they want with vaccinated over 18's or if they want the family market.

To be honest, I’d enjoy an ‘adults only’ sailing on the Magic - as long as they let into the club & lab. On the last WBTA we did they had adult sessions in the kids clubs & it was a real highlight.

Not sure our son would like being left at home though while mum & dad go on the trip.

Yes, this is exactly the predicament DCL faces with the crux of their market being families. I guess I thought the UK requirement for cruising included vaccine-only, but maybe not. AFAIK nobody can vaccinate under 16s anywhere, so I was curious how DCL would manage families as cruising resumes. I hope it works for them!
