You can cancel for a 100% credit, but not refund at this time. The EBTA and Magic‘s early summer sailings are no longer on sale.Did I miss something? I’m booked on the May EBTA but cannot cancel as far as I know? I’d love to though!

I think you can move, not cancel. Sorry I was writing quickly and doing stuff with the kids!Did I miss something? I’m booked on the May EBTA but cannot cancel as far as I know? I’d love to though!
My question is the limit of the 15 months. Will that change as time goes on? We've rebooked for next year, but what about people who rebooked for the summer? Will they get their credits moved again and will they lose the ones they had in favor of any new offers?
Also, there's no guarantee that DCL will give more than 100% to anyone on a future sailing, given that they've already allowed PIF to move and you knew that this might be an issue. They might just say that since your PIF was after it was clear ships weren't sailing that you shouldn't have paid and will only give you 100% credit or full refund.... or no refund, just credit. Just because earlier sailings were given 'bonuses' for the short notice, does not mean that will continue. As one CM said to me, DCL isn't a casino.
yes, you don't lose your depositMy cruise on paper leaves April 25th...
If you want to rebook with Disney rather than a refund are they offering any insensitive?
I've seen reports of people booked on the EBTA getting calls from DCL to ask them if they want to move their cruise? Have you had something like that? It doesn't make sense to me, because you already can? Is Disney feeling they're loosing the chicken game?Did I miss something? I’m booked on the May EBTA but cannot cancel as far as I know? Nothing yet no - though as you say, we can already move the date!I've seen reports of people booked on the EBTA getting calls from DCL to ask them if they want to move their cruise? wow, that's crazy! (the GTY and tags), must be some automated thing, I don't think somebody is waisting their time on that right now? Or it are indeed chicken tactics.Nothing yet no - though as you say, we can already move the date!
DCL have had almost two weeks since the last announcement to catch up, and they surely can’t be taking many calls for new bookings right now.
They are allocating gty numbers and mailing tags for cruises that aren’t going to sail. (More chicken tactics?!)
Stop wasting resources DCL and do the right thing!
Why would the government stop collecting taxes? A lot of people are still working from home (or working in essential professions). Will there be a regression? Yes, sure, but we'll get through it and it doesn't mean every company is going bustHere is a misunderstanding, I believe. You say you have social security, but where does that come from? The government doesn't just make up money on its own (though it's been tried a few times...). They have to collect that in taxes that everyone pays. If the government isn't collecting taxes, then there will be no money to re-distribute. This is what Greece ran into with austerity a few years back...
Also, I can't see regardless of economies, how infrastructure could be set back up in time from an operational standpoint to be ready to go for when the Med cruises are scheduled.

DCL will likely end up extending another month pushing things to 5/12 which affects my cruise. I'll have to weigh my options at that time. I would prefer a full refund but I want to cruise again. We all want to cruise again. My cruise was a 4-night on the Magic. I was really looking forward to it as it was a new port & ship for me (first time on a Classic ship) but if I get 125% credit...maybe I can find a 7-night cruise that fits into my schedule.Royal Caribbean cancel their cruises until May 12 yesterday. Alaskan cruises are on hold until July 1. I think we should see something similar from DCL soon
On the Magic? Same here.My cruise on paper leaves April 25th...

With Royal Caribbean canceling through May, I am thinking Disney will do the same.

A few more cancellation announcements have been made today.Feeling cynical today and it just occurred to me--do you think maybe DCL is holding out for the end of the fiscal quarter so they can "spread out" their losses from refunds over two quarters? Wondering if we might see a new cancellation announcement on April 1...
