I am trying to decide what to do first thing in the morning on a Thurs. in JUly. Which would be better?

Arrive at 9:15, at 9:30 ride Soarin.......at 10:00 FP TOT....then go ride TSMM

Arrive at 9:15, at 9:30 ride Soarin.......at 10:00 ride TSMM...then ride TOT

I will have a 2 year old that we will be using baby swap with also.

I am mainly worried about a bad line at TSMM if I FP TOT first, but this would work out better and be less backtracking if I could.

Any thoughts?

Well, the backtracking is an issue and a time waster, but I really think - and I know some will disagree with me - that you should put TSMM before either of the other two because it has no FP at all and it is a very popular ride (the line builds very fast and during summer I imagine it can get pretty long). I would do TSMM first thing. The other ones do have FP, so you can work those in afterwards. But other people will weigh in with different opinions so you will have to do what makes the most sense for you.

Remember, you can take baby on TSMM!

I would go Soarin', using baby swap for it, then go to TSMM. Perhaps play in that area a little bit Then either send one person off for the TOT FPs while someone at the littles goes on Triton's Carousel a few times, or just all go over, and watch Muppets, Disney PLayhouse, and/or ride Monsters a few times while waiting (depending on how long until the TOT fp).

Remember, since you'll be doing baby swap, the person/people who will ride second don't have to have a FP, which saves a FP for ya. So dad and 6 yo could get TOT FPs, they go in the FP line and get the rider switch pass (OK they'll have to see you all), they ride, they come out, then you (and maybe even the 6 yo again) go in the way they show you to go for the rider switch pass and ride again (without needing a FP). I believe that WDW doesn't allow FP/rider switch passes to be combined without everyone having a pass, but DLR has, at least in the past. :)

this is what you do have a fast pass runner fast pass soaring first thing while you walk to toy story and get in line with the little one( if the fast pass guy runs over there quickly he or she can catch up to you walking). Do Tower of terror next then go back to soaring as your fast past time should be really near. Early AM tower of terror is not full so using this order to me seems the fastest route.FYI iuse this everytime we come like now so happy yo be in disneyland!

We head to TSMM while DH stops to get FP's for Soarin. After we ride TS we head to Monster's and ride that or see Muppet's. We can baby swap ToT and the line usually moves pretty quickly, so it's not much of an issue that early in the morning. Fast Pass and baby swap are your friend since you can maximize your FP usage and just about double up on your rides. We love it and use it A LOT when we are there. :thumbsup2
