I have been seeing a lot of posts about the removal of the CALIFORNIA and Golden Gate bridge at the DCA entrance, and I just saw a picture of the new entrance........and it made me wonder if there was particular reason for the change? The new DCA entrance looks identical to the DHS entrance in Fl and I am actually kind of bummed. The CALIFORNIA and Golden Gate looked pretty neat compared to the newer entrance. Was there a reason Disney wanted to spend the money to change this?
I know the entrance is a replica of the Pan Pacific Aud., but being that DHS has a Hollywood/movie them, that makes sense as it is an entrance to the theming. But DCA doesn't have that Hollywood movie theme - right? Or does it?
I guess from the little I know about DCA's theming the Golden Gate made more sense maybe since the theming is all about California as a state?
Please don't flame me - I am just trying to understand the reasoning behind the change.
