DCA EMH Tips/Strategy?

We are staying at the Disneyland Hotel one night and plan to use EMH at DCA on Friday, September 1st (8am-9am). If we want to do Midway Mania, Guardians of the Galaxy, and Radiator Springs, what would be the best use of EMH? Would it be better to go straight to Midway Mania and then try to get Fastpasses for Guardians of the Galaxy and Radiator Springs once the park opens? Or should we try to get on one of those first?

Will you have max pass?

If not I'd ride GotG 1st and grab RSR Fp on the way. Then TSMM no FP if the line isn't too long. Then RSR when the time is right.

TSMM is fairly easy to ride early and FPs available longer than the other two. If you need to you can FP it after riding the other two.

We haven't decided for sure, but we are leaning towards yes!

You can get a Fastpass or MaxPass for any one of those rides during EMH that will be good once the park opens to regular guests. RSR and GotG are much closer together geographically (just cut through Bugs Land).

Here's what we did last Monday during EMH:

Entered park with the first wave of guests just before 8:00, bought MaxPass and immediately booked a MP for GotG (9:00 return time)
Rode GotG standby
(RSR was temporarily down when we got to Carsland)
Rode Luigi's Rollicking Roadsters instead
Rode RSR in the single-rider line
Rode Mater's Junkyard Jamboree
Got a MP for Toy Story Mania right after the park opened
Returned to GotG and rode with MP

So we did all of that by about 9:20 and then headed over to Paradise Pier to use the TSM MP, rode Screamin with almost-instant MP, ferris wheel, etc. The lines don't grow on that side of the park as quickly now that the two biggest rides are on the far side, especially if you can use a MP/FP for TSM.

Does anyone know/guess at RSR return time using Maxpass on EMH day? We'll have EMH privileges and plan on using them. Just trying to get a ballpark figure for what return time we might be looking at for RSR, if we use maxpass to pull. (We aren't interested in GOTG).

(Using the hypothetical example of a day with 8:00 EMH and 9:00 regular park open) If you show up before the park opens for EMH, say 7:50 and buy MaxPass right away as soon as you scan your tickets at the turnstiles, your return time would likely be right after regular park opening, so roughly 9:05-10:05 or similar. Even if you are in the second wave of guests arriving for EMH -- like entering the park around 8:15 -- your return time should still be pretty early. Remember everyone can only make one EMH MaxPass, and then one when your return time arrives or 1.5 hours passes.
