I booked a day for DD and I for June. On our confirmation info it did state that samples of the sun lotion are given out. Anyone got any idea how big these samples are? Samples alaways make me think of the sachets you get stuck inside magazines? Also what strength to the lotions come in? I burn -one light ray and I'm red so Factor 20 is like just basting me and sticking me out to roast.......Not a nice thought at all!!!

It also said that drinks,snacks ect were available any idea's on prices etc? I do believe you can set up a charge account by bringing your Credit Card with you.

Also it says photo id must be brought with you. I don't like the idea of trailing around with our passports do you think they'd accept a photocopy of our passports. I also have several other photo id's like my work ID badge and gym card would they be acceptable??

You're going to have a wonderful time. I was there this past Saturday and it was an amazing experience.

Each person was given one packet of suntan lotion. We did not need to use it because we were in full-length wet suits. So I don't know if one packet would be enough to provide full coverage. But the people at Discovery Cove are extremely nice so it will probably be easy to request additional lotion if you need it. Somebody may have to correct me on this but I'm pretty sure that the lotion that they provided was SPF 30.

When you check in you will have the option of adding a credit card to your resort ID. You can then use the ID for any purchases. I don't know what the prices were for snacks because we never needed to buy any. They just started to provide a continental breakfast where you can get fruit, bagels and danishes. Add the sizable lunch to that and we were fine for the entire day. Also, they did not seem to care if people brought their own snacks into the park as long as nobody brought in glass bottles.

I can't answer your question about the photo ID's. You will probably have to call the park to find out what is acceptable.

One more thing: be ready to go into shock when you see the prices for the dolphin swim pictures. That was the only negative. The rest of the experience was fantastic.

There used to be lotion dispensers in the locker areas. If that's still the case there is an endless supply.
