My family and I are going to DC next week and are planning on doing the dolphin experience. I have a rather strange question. I have an injury to my right arm and will not be able to hold on to a dolphin (during the part where they drag you through the water) with my right arm. My left arm is fine and I can tread water without difficulty. Is it going to be a problem having the dolphin on my left side? Will I have to skip the water ride part?

The dolphin is on your left side always. You hold onto the dorsal fin with your right arm and the fin with your left. I don't know if you would be able to stabilize with just one arm? You will have to ask at check in.

Thank you so much, that's exactly the information I needed:). I should be fine if the dolphin is on my left side. I appreciate your help.

Just looked at our pictures and dolphin was on all of our right sides. I would talk to then at checkin - maybe it depends on the dolphin you are assigned to.
