DC discount vs AP - help!

I have a Disney Club card and an annual pass. My DC card expired and I just realized it (unfortunately it was while purchasing something at the Disney Store!!!!). Anyway, I leave for WDW on Feb 2nd. I renewed my card tonight on the phone. CM said 2-3 weeks, but it could be sooner. If it is NOT sooner, what discounts am I losing out by just having the AP?? At DD doesn't the AP give you 10% purchases too? What about IN the parks?
