DC-DD dolphin swim+Me nonswim=problem?

Just thought of something. How close will I be allowed to get to the dolphin swim folks when it is DD's turn? I have a nonswim ticket. I want to be able to take pictures of her! No,we do not plan to buy their pix. I plan to take my own.

You will be allowed to be directly on the beach of the pool that she will be in. Most of the time her back will be toward you but you will be able to take pictures from the beach.

It does to some degree depend on where your daughter's group is in the water; however, my husband was able to get some pretty good photos of my son and I last fall. The trainer invited him into the water for a family photo at the end. It turned out great and we ended up buying it. Hope she has a great time!

Before her swim time you can walk over to the beach where the dolphins are and see where you want to stand. In our case we had our backs to the beach but they did have a group or two across from us. If you are facing the dolphin pool to the left there is a handicap ramp where you can also stand and take pictures from. That might be the best spot if she is in the group with their backs facing the beach.

We just returned from DC. It was absolutely the best!Anyway, my DDs and DH did the dolphin swim and I did not. They went off to do their video and training while I waited on the beach for them to come out. When they came out, I got great pictures of them. Depending on what section you are in - there are 3, you can get some great pics. The life guards let me stand on some rocks right where they were having their dolphin experience and I got upclose, great pics. when you are waiting for them to come out, talk to the lifeguards that are there by the beach. they gave me great tips and told me what I could do.

We bought the pics they took too, but I got great shots of my own. You shouldn't have a problem. Have fun! Our DC day was the best day of our trip. Just a great, relaxing, fun experience and we would do it again in a heartbeat.

We had 9, but we are a family of 5 and were matched with a family of 4. Overall, 8 seemed to be what the groups were.
