DC closed Memorial Day?

Thought this was interesting---the DC site shows reservations available for Memorial Day, but on the AAA website, when I was checking for discounts, it shows that DC is closed on Memorial Day.

Is it really? I thought it was open 365 days a year.

The info on the AAA website shows it closed New Year's, President's Day, Easter, Memorial Day, July 4, Labor Day, Columbus Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. I think someone must be misinformed.

Maybe that means that they do not offer/honor discounts on holidays??
