Not sure where to post this, so Mods, feel free to move if needed.
DB has Downs, so has a smaller mouth than most, and due to this, has a bunch of back teeth that will be pulled prior to our trip in Nov/Dec. He should have 3 weeks of recovery, plus we’re driving down instead of flying.
This is the first time we’ve had to deal with this, so we aren’t sure what to expect, plus he’s nonverbal and deaf.
Assuming he’s gonna be put on a soft food diet, anything he should be avoiding? Any food he can have that might surprise us? Any signs we need to watch out for? I assume most TS will work with us, but will QS?
Thankfully he loves mashed potatoes and gravy, and really isn’t that picky of an eater, but we aren’t sure how things will change after he gets his teeth pulled.
