Having three rambunctious young adults on board with DH & I for the 3nt. Wonder cruise in March, that want to be able to use Atlantis Pools ect., my question is....what is the best way to go about this? I am contemplating the day room option, but is it necessary or even worth it? I'm happy just roaming the grounds, losing a few $$, but I am out numbered.;)

If you have 5 people in your party, the only way that you can all get the wristband to be able to be by the pools and walk the grounds is to book the day rooms at the Atlantis. The rooms at the comfort Inn and booking a room ahead of time at the Atlantis is only good for up to 4 people.

Carolyn -- we also have a party of 5. Do we have to wait until that day to book a "day room" at Atlantis? Or can we reserve it ahead of time? If so, how? Is it difficult to get a day room?

Thanks.

Just the excuse "I" needed to maybe hang out elsewhere...like shopping, the casino...I left (lost) $20.00 last trip, I just may have to try to win it back.;) Thanks again.

Jan, I even called the Atlantis in the Bahamas more than once trying to work around this. It made no sense to me that I couldn't simply book ahead of time for the 5 of us knowing that we wouldn't sleep in the room. I kept hearing the same answer, it's not set up in the computers to do this ahead of time.
I called the Atlantis the moment we docked from the Wonder and it was about $12. I reserved the day room prior to leaving the ship so I knew what we were doing. We then took a cab and everything was already all set up for us, it was a very quick check in then.
As far as how difficult it is, I guess it all depends on what time of year you're traveling. Anything over spring break, Christmas, etc. would probably be very hard as the resort may be sold out. I just kept checking back with them so see how sold out they were and that gave me a good idea prior to cruising.

If you book a room at the Comfort Suites, what do you do for towels?? I assume that the room won't be ready when we get there. Do they have towels at the pools at Atlantis?

Maggie
