HI all-

I am confused......I knew this would happen. I have started to research staying in a timeshare villa, rather than at the dolphin where I have ressies for 11 nights in June. Based on the GREAT advice on this board, i have looked into hotelkingdom.com and hotelmartusa.com. Are these the best way to find good deals....or should i try the auction/bid route? I have never bid for travel before. I am finding great deals on hotelkingdom for CPGV and Wyndham Palms......nothing for Vistana. Here are my questions...

1. Why are the rates so cheap on hotelkingdom.com (is there a catch?).
2. I am traveling alone with three kids.....5 y/o daughter, 16 y/o som and his 16 y/o friend. Which resort would be better suited to the teen boys (basketball, resort amenities, perhaps walk to DD, etc), good pools, etc
3. I am looking for a 2 bedroom/2 bath unit and the best deal as I am on a really tight budget for this trip. What do you recommend as the best way to find a great deal and can I stay for 11 nights (most timeshare places are quoting by the week).

Please help. I am new to this type of travel arrangement and don't want to miss a good deal.

Thanks-
Steff

Take a deep breath in.

Here's a choice Double Tree Suites Hotel in Downtown Disney. That Hotel sleeps six people. That have bus service to the parks.

Here some places where do not have go on a timeshare presentation:

Wyndham Palms Resort and Country Club
The Hilton Grand Vacations Club
Celebration World Resort
Cypress Pointe Grand Villas

This hotel has 2 bedroom and 2 baths fo you.
Summerfield Suites

If all else fail keep your Dolphin hotel revesation until you found something offsite.

I hope this helps.

I do have Summerfield reservations, in addition to Dolphin. I made them yesterday. I am paying $129 nt for Summerfield. The Cypress resort looks nicer than Summerfield and is much cheaper on Hotelkindgom. Summerfield has a shuttle to the parks, which is a nice option for the boys to be able to come and go and their leisure. I guess I was looking for even nicer options than Summerfield, at a cheaper rate. Thanks for the suggestions. Doubletree quoted me a very high rate...I think $169 nt.
