Daytona 500 experience

I need some information about the DAYTONA 500 EXPERIENCE at Daytona International Speedway from anyone that has been recently.

I have all the info about the price of admission for the three of us and a list of attractions inside the Experience but I am unsure whether these attractions are included in the price of admission. I presume so, and the websites that I have visited do not say that an extra charge is made for some exhibits (except for Acceleration Alley) but I would like to be sure and be told so by anyone that has been.

As a MASSIVE Nascar fan this will be a dream couple of hours for me and as much I would like to do the V.I.P. pass - I could not drag my wife and daughter through a 2.5 hour vip tour with more stuff to do afterward at the Experience

Anyways, any reviews and info from anyone who has been would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Baggie,

Visited Daytona in 2008 (with DW & DD). I am a Dale Earnhart fan and the memorabilia on display is fantastic (including a statue outside the entrance)
We did the track tour, which lasted about 1 hour. We drove under the track into the infield, down pit road and had our pictures taken on the victory rostrum (Ask the official photographer to take one with your own camera - saves buying their pics). We stopped at various points around the track, the banking is quite steep. Just as the tour ended, the track opened and we saw about 20 cars during practice. The static displays are good and also make sure to visit the 3D film. Acceleration alley is a small additional charge, where you sit in individual cars and race each other via a screen in front of you. This is a motion simulator, so when you hit the wall - you know it!!!
You can also race against the clock changing a wheel.
DW & DD and NOT motorsport fans, but the variety more than kept them occupied. I am sure you will all have a great time - ENJOY

Off Topic......like many other Wolves fans, we would have liked to see you stay up, lets hope we can meet the season after.......in the premiership
