Can anyone shed some light on which days of the week are better than others for the MK? For example, we are taking our "Princess" granddaughter who's 4 in August and our tentative itinerary looks like this:

Saturday: EPCOT - Princess Storybook Breakfast
Ice Cream Social

Sunday: AK - Donald's Breakfastorus

Monday: Cindy's Royal Table - Breakfast
Chef Mickey's - dinner

Tuesday: Crystal Palace - Breakfast
Cindy's Gala Feast - dinner

Of course we'll be doing rides at MK but will we run into huge crowds? any help will be great! Thanks.:D

Magic Kingdom opens its gates early to Disney resort guests on Thursday and Sunday. Although queues are short before 9am, MK is horribly crowded for the rest of the day and therefore it is probably best to avoid these days.

There seems to be a consensus that Saturday is a horrible day. In the off-season this is true because locals choose the weekends to go to MK. However, in the Summer many locals stay at home (because of the tourists and hot weather) and out of state guests use Saturday to travel. Also, since many people check in on a Sunday to their hotels and hit MK first (on Monday) by Saturday a lot of people will have experienced MK.

So I would say in August Friday and Saturday are your best bets. That said, if you are going in the first two weeks of August MK will be very busy whenever you go!
