Long time Days watcher first time poster! I agree with what people are saying Days needs some new writers...I'm getting really sick of the whole Belle/Shawn/Phillip thing and the "lost/presumed dead" charchters need to break out of the castle and come back to Salem. I used to watch Days all of the time, but now I just read spoilers on the net and watch maybe once a month.


I'm bummed Kirsten Storms isn't coming back I really liked her a lot...I don't really care for the chick that plays her now or the guy from the Real World that plays Phillip.


I also hope they bring back Austin (thought I read he is coming back on a SOD cover?!?) and Carrie...I would love to see them finally get married. In addition to Austin and Carrie I hope they bring back Nancy and Craig for an actual storyline not just as background fluff.

According to tvtome, she was born in December 1913, which makes her 91. She would have been married at 16, which was possible in those days.

LOL Yeah I'm more or less dreaming for that one...maybe Carrie comes home from Isreal for a break/funeral or something and runs into him...hmmmm they can rendezvous at Green Mountain Lodge.

Debbie thanks for that information on Alice. You know she really doesn't look 90 but I have noticed you no longer see her actually moving. She is always sitting in a chair when she's on. Good for her though, I hope I look as good at 90 and am still in a job that I love.

I am so sick of Jack getting kidnapped, Jen wishing he was alive.

I am so sick of slimy John, sweating and yelling.

I am so sick of Bo and Hope fighting over Billie and Georgia.

I am sure I missed some... anyone care to help me out...

The show is so slow

ITA.....I love the show but its getting old. A "rework" is definately long overdue.

As far as Will being Austins son , I thought they did a test on him and it came back as Lucas. I mean who would switch the test because that is always Sammi LOL and we all know she didnt want it to be his she really wanted Austin .

I always wondered if they actually did a paternity test or just took Sami's word for it. I don't remember every doing a test.

I was wondering why bring back Austin. I wasn't thinking he could actually turn out to be Will's father. Sami was 16 when she had Will, who says she knew what she was doing when she switched the DNA results. It might make for an interesting storyline. Although, I do really like Sami and LUcas together, but with her being a man and all, I don't think they'll be getting back together anytime soon

I seem to remember it coming out during a test that Lucas was the father . But of course there are so many times we have had tests on so many kids I may be wrong .

I think I remember Lucas was looking at Sammy's drivers license for some reason and seeing her blood type wasn't the same as Will's. So he knew she lied and had the test done.

I think there was definitely a test done to show Lucas was the father, but we all know in soap opera land, nothing is as it seems

Who else was grossed out by John/Kate and Roman/Marlena going at it? I can't take this storyline!!!!

That would be me. The whole storyline needs to be finished and moved forward.

I do admit they had a new use for flashbacks today. That one of Bo and Hope had be close to 15/20 years old.

Mimi is a waitress, I believe she works two jobs. Belle works for Basic Black. Rex is a TA for the college and bartends at Alice's. Shawn is the only one that I am aware of that has not "job." Now of course you rarely see anyone of them at work. But the same can be said for all/most of the characters.

And yes it does seem that "Nancy" has lost a bit of weight, I noticed that a few days ago.

I think she did lose some weight! I really love the charchters of Nancy and Craig I hope the writers develop a story for them.

I think i read that Patricia Darbo ( Nancy ) had the tummy staple thing Ala Carnie Wilson . I could be wrong but I seem to remember reading that somewhere about 8-9 months ago

From what they have been showing Jack, Cassie, Roman and Marlena will be coming back to Salem. Nothing mentioned of Caroline or Victor (the forgot two)
