OK, fess up...who else wanted to smack John upside the head while he was standing there, all sorts of righteous, chewing gum like it was a wad of chewing tobacco?? The scenes today were an all time low for him!

I was just coming here to post about John!! I had to laugh out loud when he was swaggering around the ER and Lexie asked what happened to Alex. JOHN: "Well he was coming after Marlena so I took care of business" chomp chomp (those are my gum noises!). What a moron.

AND.... everytime they've ever shown the penthouse, it appears to be in a very high skyscraper. Now I'm sorry, but if someone is SHOT and then FALLS 30 or 40 stories to the concrete below, I doubt an awning would do much to break his fall!

And my last comment: Hope finds Zach. Hope has the babysitter call 911. They wait for help. Then after they learn the ambulance is not going to make it, she takes Zach to the hospital herself. At no time did she even ATTEMPT to call Bo! Hello???

I thought she tried to call Bo and left a message, but Bo told Chelsea he would look at it later. I can't remember now if that happened or not, lol. Anyway, is it at all possible Zach will not die and maybe Alex's organs will be donated to Claire. Maybe Days is toying with us

I was at John today. his comment to Lexie was hilarious!

I was just coming here to post about John!! I had to laugh out loud when he was swaggering around the ER and Lexie asked what happened to Alex. JOHN: "Well he was coming after Marlena so I took care of business" chomp chomp (those are my gum noises!). What a moron.

I know, I couldn't believe it when he said that! Could you imagine someone who just shot someone being that arrogant, wouldn't he have any remorse?

I liked when Hope was looking for change yesterday for the pay phone, ah hello, cell phone?

ITA! He was so cocky today and the gum chewing was very annoying! I'm really sick of the whole Marlena plot that is going on now...it is time to move on and let that woman rest and enjoy her life and be wtih her family for at least a few episodes.

To be honest, all the plots for the past year or so have been pitiful...I know it is a soap at its best ruining relationships over misunderstandings, but this whole Belle/Phillip/Shawn/Mimi thing is so dumb....someone posted before, they all just fell out of love or in love with each other in like an hour....makes no sense sometimes..........and now we know Mimi will be pregnant and throw another wrench into the whole drama.............oy...... I know that if "all the Days of My Life" were like the people in Salem, I'd be in a mental hospital

I like the Mimi/ Shawn storyline. It's one of the few highlights of the show right now IMHO. Let's face it, the actress who originated Belle would have made a huge difference in how we view the Belle character these days, but this actess has been so whiny and over the top, I just keep thinking she deserves the putz they have partnered her with (Phillip). That actor needs to be dumped completely. Why didn't they have him get hit by a car and donate Clair a liver? He can't even show genuine emotions..he looks like an amateur trying to pretend. My DD does a better job of acting. Both the actors portraying Shawn and Mimi have become seasoned and show their emotional connection to each other in a way that its hard not to be drawn by that. We have to look at their history and remember Shawn was Meems first crush and kiss. She never stopped having feelings for Shawn, its just that those feelings were never allowed to develop into something more serious before. Even though they rushed Belle's pregnancy all of a sudden, its actually been longer than 2 months since Rex left Mimi. It may not be the hot sexy type of relationship Day's is known for, but a relationship built on friendship and slowly developing...its kind of nice and more true to what actually happens in the real world. This storyline is the only thing saving Day's right now, every other storyline leaves us wishing they would kill off the characters and start completely over. Enough of John and Marlena. I once loved this couple but I think it's time for them to move out of Salem. And they can take Sami with them. They had a chance to make something interesting out of Sami's character and they're ruining it by going back to the old scripts. What did they do? Dust off the pages and make a few changes hoping we wouldn't notice? And shall we say Lexie needs to go back to medical school? Oh, they need to replace every one of these writers. Ok, rant over.

Is Lexie the only doctor in the entire hospital? It seems like she does everything - surgery, emergency, OB, pediatrics.

I was thinking the same thing!!! Lexie is called for everything! Some doctor she must be . I too hate the John/Marlena/Roman storyline.....so boring. What is this about Mimi being pregnant.....I thought she couldn't have children? Did I miss something? And pease, Austin is the biggest goober! I can't stand the actor who plays him. If he and Carrie get back together what a bore that will be. At least Sami and Lucas were comical together. But look at them now. It's like they were never in love.....they just moved on so quickly! Ugh! I know it's a soap, but come on!!

I was thinking the same thing. But I do have to say that Kristin Alfonzo's acting was wonderful, I was on the edge of my seat by the end of yesterdays episode, crying with her! Stupid writers

Actually, that is good she was looking for change.

Normally they use the pay phone with no change and in a hospital, your not allowed to have cell phones on due to the interference with the equipment. Sometimes Days even forget this and I see them using their phones at the hospital...

As far as Mimi pregnant, I don't think she is unless I missed something. If they made her pregnant, I wouldn't find it that odd. I have 2 friends who were told they could never have kids. The one now has a 9 year old and the other has two kids, ages 5 & 2.

I haven't watched any shows this week, just catching up here has been enough for me so far.

All of the phone talk reminds me of something though. Anyone remember the night that Claire got sick and Belle called Mimi? Her and Shawn were in bed and she decided to answer the phone because it might be important. When she picked up the phone and looked at it, she said, "It's Belle". Well, Belle was calling from a hospital phone! How did she know it was her?? I meant to come here and post that then, but forgot.

Actually, I thought of that after I posted, it figures that's something that the writers are conscientious of, yet I love when a character calls the hospital and asks the nurse or operator to go give so and so a message from them. Would a hospital employee search the hospital to give a visitor a message?

Well, after looking at the coming attractions, it doesn't look like Bo puts two and two together. He seems completely oblivious that it was Chelsea who hit Zach, but like I mentioned before, maybe it will turn out she hit the cat.

I thought when Bo picked up Chelsea the car was silver or tan. Even when she hit Zack or whatever, the car was lighter in color. Now it's a pure black vehicle???

when I saw max looking at it... it was black I dont remember seeing the outside of the car before that but I fast forwad alot in with the Tivo ( I need to break myself of that )
