I wasn't thrilled with the new Belle either, but at least she wasn't whining. But did anyone else notice now all of a sudden there is sexual tension between Phillip and Belle, now that there is a new Belle. I think that's going to make it harder for this new actress. There was no interest in Phillip, now all of a sudden there is, it seems really forced. I know at one point they had Phillip kissing Belle and her thinking about it, but then they just dropped it and that was also so long ago.

Anyway, did it bother anyone else that Sami wasn't the least bit concerned that Lucas had just slept with someone maybe an hour before they had sex and he didn't even shower

I thought I was the only one who thought it ICKY that Lucas didn't even clean up before hopping out of bed 1 and into bed 2!

What strikes me odd about the new Belle is the hair. When they first announced who was taking over the role, there was a link to the actress' website (sorry, don't remember where I saw this! ). I clicked on it to see what the new girl would look like. Unless they changed their mind or she got a major hair cut, the photos were of a girl with long hair. That right there struck me as odd since they wouldn't be able to have Belle "look" the same. That's what I thought the fake hair was to ease the adjustment into the new actress. When she walked out with that horrendous hair cut, I was really stumped!

Did I miss anything or did they not yet show Hope meeting up with her dad yet? I thought for sure he would of been in the show today! Heck, the island can't be that big that they are still out looking for Doug!!

No, they haven't shown Hope meeting up with Doug, hopefully she does before she goes into the jungle looking for Jenn

Ok, I watched my Tivo'd DOOL last night. This new Belle has got to go! She's AWFUL. At one point, she looked like she was reading her lines off of a cue card!

I had to laugh. I found a link on Dustin's site for THIS girl's website. There, you can find her resume. Under the "Experience" tag (where I assume you would list all your acting jobs), it simply says "Very Experienced" I think we ALL can safely assume that DOOL is her FIRST acting job! (gee, doesn't show a bit does it???!!! )

Looks like DH & I are in very good company! We can not stand the new Belle either. This actress is BAD! I swear after every line she would let out this big "sigh"....drove me NUTS!!!!!

I think it is a very bad recast, this new Belle doesn't have the "innocent" of the old Belle. I think Days could have done a lot better!!!!

OMG! I'm with all of you. I started to watch yesterday's DOOL on SoapNet this morning (9am Central time) and just couldn't watch it anymore after I saw the new Belle. She is just awful. Poor girl. She has some mighty big shoes to fill and I don't think she can cut it. Well, JMHO.

Oh phew i am here in with all my friends in saying that the new Belle is horrible !! I want Kristen Storms back or at least someone who can act !!! I had to read my book when the Phillip/ Belle scenes were on ..
I thought Lucas didn't do the Nasty will girl one ??? I must have missed that .. but if he did ICKY POO !!!

Although I haven't seen the new Belle yet, I find it hard to believe that there can be a worst recast than the Mickey one. At least the guy who took over Mickey had previous acting experience, but I still can't stand the fact that they aged him so much just to put him with a younger woman. If they were going to change his age at all they could have at least cast a younger actor to do it.

Let's face it...I think Days sucks at recasting characters. And for some reason the only one they could get right was with a character we all hate...JAN! Why can't they make every recast that good???

I too could not believe how awful the new Belle was! Jan's recast was perfect, but this Belle will not fit in at all! She can't deliver a line with any emotion at all! Now we not only have bad writing, but stupid actors too!

Wow, that just shows you just HOW bad this gal was...if they replaced her that fast....I still want Kirsten back, but doubt she will, although others have gone on to nighttime TVdom and returned later.
