Anyone spot Patrick in the McDonald's commercial?

What confuses me is how quickly the planes that have crashed have been able to get to the island! If this island is so hidden and "uncharted", wouldn't you think it would take them a heck of a lot longer to get there than it has?

One other thing, if this "UnSalem" is protected by a force field, how were Hope and Patrick able to swim to the dock so easily? I could be wrong but if they were supposed to be swimming in the ocean, don't oceans have shallow water at the edges, normally leading into a beach...............they just made it directly to the dock.

Can't wait to see how they explain how everyone who is buried is no longer in their coffins!

I was confused too as to how Patrick and HOpe were able to swim onto the island and not encounter a force field. I suppose we're to overlook that

I'm so glad Belle will be recast. The actress that plays her really gets on my nerves with all of her wining.

I really don't know who is behind this fake Salem Island, but I hope we find out soon. I'm thinking the "never been done before" storyline, is that fact that all of these people's deaths were faked and now they're living on a duplicate island. I have to say, I've never seen that done before.

I think Bo will be the one to save them. Bo and Hope do have that ESP thing going, but I don't think he will find him until, Marlena and Roman get together, John and Kate get together, Lexie and Tek get together and Victor and Caroline get together. This way, no one will be happy to see anyone once they get rescued

I have been watching this show for about 30 years.eeeek and this is the worst writing I have ever witnessed. This show is getting so far fetched it is right up there with Passions (one is enough thank you NBC) They defineately need some new blood, I can take a little far fetching ideas but it has become to far out there! Where pray tell is Bo and Hope's baby Zak? Maybe this island thing should be called "Salem's Lot"

Right! I mean, as if they all haven't had experience being trapped on deserted islands by now? They all should be experts on this!

Especially Jack and Jennifer...it's been a long time, but isn't some of this feeling like their escapades after the "Cruise of Deception" storyline?

Yes. Swimming to the island was absolutely ridiculous. Now Bo can't seem to find them. Hey, why don't you check out that island over there, Bo?!?! And, please, if they could swim to the island, don't you think Roman and Marlena could see Bo's helicopter and start a fire to get his attention?? Regardless, I'll continue to watch. Its my evening escape after work. I need brainless stuff like this to relax and let go. Thank you TIVO!

It wasn't Belle (Kristin Black) doing the whining, it was the writers making her whine. Just because a new Belle is coming on, you think the writers are going to change her personality?

On regards to Hope and Patrick swimming there. The plane crashed in the water, so maybe there is no force field from the sky. Salemn is suppose to take place in a mid-west, since when is their tropical islands near the great lakes and sharks.

I think Cassie is the only one left that hasn't been shown. Let's see...Caroline just came back and they've shown Abe, Jack, Maggie, Roman, Tony, Victor, Doug, and Alice. So, yeah...Cassie is the only one they haven't shown yet.

I watch the show off and on - meaning I watch it during the day while flipping between a few shows at lunch (it's amazing how many shows you can watch at once and not miss all that much!)

But I must have missed this - Victor is on the island? Why is Victor there? Everyone else was hit by the Salem Stalker, Victor was electrocuted by Jan & Nicole. It makes no sense whatsoever that he would be there.

they dont know why . Vic said he knew Nicole killed him with jan as her helper bee and he doesnt know why or how he got to the Island

Now I must have missed something! I didn't see Victor on the island. I'll admit that I fast forward through quite a bit while I'm watching, but I still never saw Victor. When did they show him? Was he with the others?

They haven't shown him too much, but from what I've read him and Caroline are suppose to be rekindling their relationship on the island. So now that Caroline is back, we might be seeing more of Victor. But a lot of people have been speculating that Victor might have something to do with the whole island scheme because he's the only one there that wasn't killed by the Salem Stalker.

Cassie will be shown on the island. She is set to return on August 3.

OMG... did anyone see the new Belle, she was awful...She can't act and she is not cute at all... It is one of the worst recast. she is even older than the other Belle (Kirsten Storms) it will make the whole Shawn/Belle/Phillip thing pointless.

I didn't like the new Belle either. She looks much older.

Yea, caught the last 1/2 hour today, and the new Belle is...something alright. At least she won't upstage or out-act Phillip now. And she's got short hair, leaving us even more perplexed at the old Belle's long ponytail.

I guess to be fair, this actress is having to come in and play some very emotional scenes (mum dead, Shawn missing). Maybe she will grow into it.

OMG, I totally agree, when I saw her, within 2 minutes I said to myself she is just awful, too old, can't act and is NOTHING like the old Belle. Yikes, if she lasts it will be a miracle. I've been weening away from this show, and this is about to push me away for good. I've seen re-casts where they grow on you and very quickly, but this poor gal is the pits. Who picked her out I wonder? Kirsten, for the sake of our viewing pleasure, PLEASE come back
