I am completely disapointed in this show. I have watched this show my whole life it seems. I remember being little and watching it with my grandma and then with my mama and then in college with my friends. The writers/destroyers of the show have ruined it. It just makes me so mad that they don't actually use the talent they have in their senior people and keep relying on the coming up actors who still need acting lessons. I personally love Mrs. Horton and want to see more of her. I don't know if it is her choice or theirs to lessen her time but I want her back! Do they people who write their smutt now actually seen any of the really good episodes from the 80's or earlier and heck some even early 90's? (after that it's pushing it some.) It just makes me sad that I don't watch Days anymore because I can't stand to.

oh I am also so glad that Mickey picked Maggie however I do like Bonnie very much and think she adds a certain spice.

...random thoughts...as I was watching today....Mimi is pretty good with the mad reactions/emotions/faces...but her crying needs some work........

and Phillip is just plain annoying at times.........and Belle is for that matter too and Shawn.........well all of Salem on any given day...

Was anyone else cheering when Mimi slapped Belle? That girl needs some sense slapped into her.

The Phillip "sweetheart" thing bothers me too. He probably said it at least 10 times on today's show. It sounds so sugary fake. I was hoping they would get rid of that character or put another actor in there.

She is around that age and I believe has had a mild stroke too, so just to be in any scene once in awhile is a great thing for her...I've always liked her character...........and sappy as this is.... I like every Christmas when they bring her in and they decorate the Christmas tree with all the ornaments with the family names on them............told you I was sappy... It's been kinda nice that they have also kept Tom Horton's memory alive as he was an integral part of the show for years

I have been watching this show since I was 8 years old. So that puts me in the late 80's catagory. I love this soap...but have to say the GH is pushing it out of my number one soap. Yes, I am a SAHM, the kiddies nap at the perfect time.


I really want Belle to go away. I didn't like her when Kristen Storms played her (BTW-she is now on GH and messing it up for me there as well), and I do not like this new person either. I do not want her to be with Shawn. She can stay with dopey Phillip (poor guy). For the person that posted that Mimi is leaving-where did you hear that? I really want her with Shawn. Time for some new couplings if you ask me.

I could say so much more, but why bother. This show needs something....a new writer maybe?

Oh-I so want Sami to get Kate. I think it has been too long in coming....who else would be happy to see that happen? Devote a whole damn hour to that PLEASE.

I cannot stand Kate. I have absolutly no interest in the character and if she was written off would not miss her. Roman and John are another two who need to have their characters re-written, I'm sick of the way they are acting.

I agree that the storylines are quite predictable these days. I miss the humour aspect too. As much as I'm glad Mickey finally picked Maggie, I found that "love" triangle with Bonnie hilarious! Bring back Vivian and Ivan!!!! I laughed so much with them around. I understand that you need drama, but let's try to lighten up a bit and have some fun too!!

...not sure, but it probably won't be that she spills the beans on Belle and Shawn to Phillip.........that would make way to much sense of that carrot dangled in front of us today in the previews for tomorrow....the phone will ring or someone will knock on the door...or GASP....Belle will faint... maybe she will get amnesia just like her Mom and they can start over together..........

When we lived in Montana, we didn't have local channels, but we had Denver channels. We had a big dish, not the little one. We had to set the dish to different satellites (it would move) instead of just focusing on one satellite like we do now.

So I'd get up at about 2AM and watch DOOL and Y&R on CBC and these were the next day episodes, too. These were for the TV feeds, so there were no commercials, just blank spaces.

Just another thing to miss about Montana.
