I just heard EJ, is Elvis Jr., remember Carly when she played 3 people? Elvis Jr. is suppose to be one of the characters' Carly played and I think Stefano's kid.

How about mimi's egg not making it and the dr. seeing just how bad she wants a baby and giving her one of Belle's. Then Belle and shawn will have 2 babies together.

I'll bet that you're right on the money with this one. That or Belle and Phillip will donate one of her eggs to Mimi because they are "bestest friends 4 eva". However, I'm not quite sure how they're going to explain using Sean's sperm for both eggs.

This blurb gives the Readers Digest version of Patch & Kayla, more succinctly than I could phrase it

Patch & Kayla
1986 – 1990
Steve “Patch” Johnson, an ex-merchant marine, was literally a man on a mission when he met Kayla Brady. He came to Salem on assignment from his boss, Victor Kiriakis. Once best friends with Bo Brady, the two parted ways after Bo stabbed Steve in the eye during a violent fight. Now, “Patch” often butted heads with the Bradys... but not with the boys’ attractive sister, Kayla.

Patch & Kayla soon teamed up for adventure, which seems to be a tradition among Salem’s supercouples! Early in their relationship, Patch’s troubling memory flashes threatened to tear them apart; however, Kayla remained determined despite Patch’s emotional distance.

In 1988, Patch encouraged Kayla to spend time with his brother, Jack. Big mistake! Kayla, feeling rejected by Patch, ultimately accepted Jack’s proposal and the two were quickly married. Patch kidnapped Kayla to protect her (he said) from a plot to poison her. The two continued to secretly meet even after Kayla’s return. Once Jack learned that his wife and his brother were in cahoots, he raped Kayla and had Kiriakis’s men beat up Patch. Ultimately, Patch confronted Jack on a Salem rooftop, where he plunged over the side and was almost killed.

Once Kayla & Jack’s divorce was final, Patch & Kayla were free to marry. However, Kayla was viciously attacked by the Riverfront Knifer (Harper Devereaux) and almost killed in a fiery explosion in her home. She was left unable to hear or speak and with partial memory loss. When surgery helped repair her hearing, Patch used the opportunity to propose. Kayla said yes, but it wasn’t until her wedding day that she was able to speak her first words. The couple later discovered that Patch’s ex-wife Marina was alive - which nullified their 1988 marriage. Kayla gave birth to their daughter, Stefanie, while in jail for Marina’s murder. (She was framed!) The couple renewed their vows in 1990 after Kayla was exonerated.

Many more adventures followed, until Patch got involved in a risky case and was in the wrong place at the wrong time. An explosion meant for Bo left Patch in a coma. He emerged briefly, only to die in Kayla’s arms.

WOW! I totally forgot about all that crap with Kayla and Jack.(look--I made a rhyme ) Personally, I have been sick of the whole Jennifer and Jack thing for a long time. How many times can a "good guy" die before we become bored with the whole tears, looking at their pictures, talking to their ghosts thing only to find out they are alive? Been there, done that, too many times. I hope they die, move away, whatever, don't care at this point.(yawn)

I wish the Belle, Shawn, Mimi, Philip situation would get over with already. They have obviously set up the switching plot but I am guessing that the sperm get switched and Mimi may or may not miscarry again. They made a "Hhhmmm" a few weeks ago at the Brady Pub when Chelsea overheard Victor and Kate (I think) and Mimi and confronted Mimi about some big secret. Chelsea didn't believe the explanation so she may dig deeper and find out the truth and spill the beans for redemption back into the family???

Anywhoes....whatever happened to Nicole and Brandon's younger sister Taylor(I think) who went off to college? Do you think they will bring Stephanie in as a love interest for Philip when Belle leaves him or will she be aged to go after Lucas? She can't be competition for Max..right..that is her Uncle ?

Will they just bring Hope her positive pregnancy test already. I know waits are long in the ER--but we're going on 2 days now...that's a bit long. Mimi got a surrogate and egg harvesting quicker than that.

Either science functions at the speed of light or a turtle's pace on the show--but both paces at the same time???

It's about time Phillip opened his eyes! He never noticed the hundred times his wife was gone on the roof telling Shawn one more time that she loves him.

About Elvis, I think Susan was picked by Stephano to be the mother of his son (artifically) and she thought she had "been with" Elvis. So she named him Elvis Jr. Kristen who was to marry John at one time passed the baby off as her own- John Jr.

Then it will be Phillip and Mimi consoling eachother while Belle and Shawn are the family they should be. Like this would ever happen though

I do agree that FINALLY Phillip caught on. Geez took him long enough. What I want to know is how come he didn't charge after Mimi? It looked like he was going to after he stoppd Belle, or at least I thought so.

As for Hope's pregnancy, how many missed periods does it take these people before they even consdier the fact that they could be pg? Come on it took me being 2 days late to consider the obvious Does everyone find out at the hospital when they go in for something else?

This storyline with Hope is very reminiscent of the storyline with Marlena. Here we go again with two men fighting over the pregnant woman. I wonder if Hope will lose the baby and lose her memory too

And this whole Shawn being mad at Bo thing. Boring. Look at all of the times Bo and Hope bailed him out of trouble. Selective memory? AND whatever happened with the whole Jan kidnapping him thing? Didn't Mimi know about that? She's still keeping that quiet, isn't she????

I want that to happen too! Shawn and Belle *belong* together. They're each others "one true love" we all know how important that is on this show!

Anyone else pumped to see Sami's demise for the 1200th time? I am!! It never seems to get old oddly enough. Hmmm
