I can't believe Marlena confesses to John and he doesn't get it She comes right out and tells him she's the killer and he doesn't realize, yet Tony and Cassie figure it out in some obscure way
I keep trying to figure out why Marlena has done this. She doesn't seem to be possessed or not in control. I don't think it's an imposter, because today she said John has been so good to her and she can't lose him and even went after him to tell him AGAIN she was the killer, but of course she sees him hugging Kate. She does make an interesting comment though, she says, even John betrays me. So, I'm thinking maybe somewhere in the past year or so she was really betrayed by someone and this caused her to kill, but I can't imagine what it could be Although she did say when she looked at Roman's picture that his fatal mistake was marrying Kate. Was it Roman falling in love with Kate that caused her to go into this killing spree?
What do you guys think?

I didn't see it today, what exactly did Marlena say to John?

As for her motive, who knows at this point. Why would anyone kill Maggie or Caroline? I do think her motive for killing Roman was that he married Kate and she didn't want Kate to have him.

John kept insisting that he should move back in with her to protect her from the killer and Marlena said something along the lines of: "No one can protect me, I'm the killer..." and she stops and turns around and then John says, "I know what you're saying, you're going to be the killer's next victim"

THis story gets more stupid every day! I could NOT make myself watch it today. Our characters don't sound or act like themselves anymore, and I don't like who they have become!

Gotta agree, it doesn't make sense anymore at all. No motive to kill everyone, and the characters are acting totally different from how they have been portrayed all these many years.

One of two things started this: Collin's murder or Abe's murder. I always thought it would turn out that the person who killed Collin was going to be completely different than the serial killer, so I don't know if that was Marlena or not. Either way though, why would she kill Collin or Abe? After Abe, she apparently had to kill Jack because he figured it out somehow. And then Maggie had it figured out. But why Caroline? She didn't seem to be anywhere close to figuring it out? And how did salsa help Cassie figure out who the killer was before Marlena killed her off too??? And if Tony knew for sure that she was the killer, why didn't he tell SOMEONE before she offed him too??? He should've like at least written a letter and mailed it to the police department or something before he went public with it. I don't know. None of it makes any sense to me. I'm confused???
