Days of Our Lives Watchers Part Two....

How did I NOT KNOW this thread existed?? I've watched "Days" since 1988 (high school), and this is the most bored I've ever been!! SO excited for the changes coming!

My DH sometimes watches (ie. commentates), and he laughs out loud at Bo & Hope's "investigations". UGH...terrible. Gus? Bored. Taylor? Hate her. Bring on the oldies-but-goodies!!

I am glad we will be seeing some of the oldeis but goodies coming back. But am I the only one who does not like Austin and Carrie? Austin always bugged me by how easily manipulated he was by Sami and how he bounced between the two sisters. I never understood why either woman liked him at all (besides him being so easy on the eyes). I loved Carrie and Mike together, I even liked Carrie and Lucas, but the Carrie and Austin coupling was always a snorefest to me.

But Jack was always a top favorite. Even when he was being a jerk, I loved him. Can't wait to see him back!

Today's episode (here in Indy) when Bo, Hope, Maggie & Jennifer were talking about the new Town Square and how lovely it was going to be after "going downhill, all the little businesses closing up, gardens going to weed"....that made me laugh. The way everyone talks about it, I always envisioned Salem to be idyllic and Shangri-La-eque (except the spot down by the pier and alley where all the hookers were getting attacked). Funny their center of town would be so crappy...

I enjoyed the old, funny Jack...not the jerky one. I'm glad Jennifer is happy with Daniel and don't know if I'm going to like Jack messing things up.

I liked Patrick Muldoon as Austin better than Austin Peck, glad he's the actor coming back as that character.

Looking forward to John and Marlena being back in town!! Why can't Stefano move away??

So what did everyone think of the reset episode?

I think this party is going to go on all week. On my show today E.J got to see his kids and hug them. I felt bad for Allie , she is kind of left out (I know she is not E.J's but it just seemed akward for her) when the two go to hug E.J. Maybe she will turn out like Sami because of it.

Have been reading spoilers about those letters that fell on the floor. Something about a off shore bank account Alice had. Some mystery that Hope will work on.

Did anyone watch Dirty Soap last night. It was interesting. It featured Chloe and her last day on set. It is camera's kind of following a few soap stars around and filming. I found it interesting. Loved when Brandon , Nadia's boyfriend said they should have killed her off by going though a windshield. He also said he was glad she wasn't a hooker anymore and going to bed with old man, almost wondered if he meant Daniel there.

He got injected with a needle by Charlotte, a woman who was after Marlena. It made him paralized and they left to go get treatment in Swizerland.

I remember the injection part had to look who. Charlotte was a helping Marlena with John's memory. She got obsessed with John and wanted to get Marlena out of the picture.

Watched Monday's. Glad to see some old faces, but wait, I think Marlena has a new face Didn't get a good close up but boy I think she's had some work done.

Hopefully they'll actually be some story lines to go along with the returnees. Sami sure doesn't look happy to see Carrie.

I don't have a DVR and have relied on SoapNet so I can watch "Days" at night at either 6pm during supper or 11pm before bed. Thanks to "All My Children" going off the air, SoapNet had to rearrange their evening schedule and "Days" is now on at 8pm (during my other prime time shows!!!) or at midnight....and ain't no way I can stay up until 1am! URGH!!!! My DH wasn't very happy I kept flipping back and forth from "Days" to "Dancing with the Stars" tonight.

"Days" also re-airs the next day at 7am. Maybe I can get my butt out of bed and get ready early to watch during breakfast and still be at work on time. (Not likely!) Point is...I'm gonna depend on this thread or the DAYS website recaps unless it is a bad night of Prime Time...like Friday!

I thought that too when I first say him.

Wonder what we will do with an account...oh I forgot the new storyline about a bank account and Alice maybe he will be helping Hope.

Edit: I just watched that part again and Austin is a fornesic account. So a detective of sorts I guess.

I really do like the keeping past cast conections that DOOL does.

What is going on with Carrie and Sami, today Marlena said she wanted a fresh start with everyone and Sami just stared at Carrie

Are they going to do a love triangle with Melaine and Abby over Chad? It might be interesting to see Chad and Melaine together since they are a couple in real life.

Yes but Brady is on the outs with John I believe and maybe that is why she didn't say anything.

I thought the same thing about Melanie and Chad. When she said it was a pity dance.

Yeah the Jack thing and no one seeing him the whole time is weird...but it worked for the purpose of getting to know what Jenifer and Abby are up to.

Kate did not know Austin was in town , but no one knew they were coming. They said they didn't know if they would make it themselves so I can see Kate not knowing.

Still really loving the whole party thing and hints sent out to futrue story lines. Like today Bo said to Hope that Mrs H and Tom only loved one another and there was no one else in their lives....me thinks a mystery lover is coming.
