Rafe is now a construction worker. He says he loves carpentry and is working the night shift. Never heard of that before. Road construction yes during night but carpentry

It sometimes happens here in the desert since it can be too hot to work during the day in the summer, but I think Salem is supposed to be in Illinois, so that still wouldn't make any sense.

Now that I think about it, I have an uncle that works carpentry in Chicago. He sometimes starts early in the morning (like 4 am) if there is some kind of tradeshow and works very late hours. But I don't think there is usually a night shift.

Back to Days - I don't like Brady with Melanie. He seems to old for her. And what is with the writers' obsession with death - they're stuck in a moseleum while Stephanie & Philip are in a mortuary?? How creepy! I'm not sure which would be worse!

At the end of each episode they always show whats going to happen the next day. I am loving that Melanie!!!! LOL I wonder if she will will eventually hook up with Phillip. I loved Sammi for the longest time but now its time for the new bad girl in town Theyre both my faves though

I didn't think I would say this but Melanie is growing on me too. I didn't like Chelsea when she first came on either.

I think she is too young for Phillip. I heard that they are bringing in someone new for her. Maggie's grandson? This summer is going to be full of teenager story lines I think.

It's funny Meleaine reminds me so much of Chelsea. They have to get rid of so many teens a few is fine but then you lose the major characters.

How old is Brady "supposed" to be? When they showed the plaque for his mom, it said she was born in 1965. Even if she had him when she was 18, that would only make him 26..I thought he was supposed to be in his 30's?

And where is Philip's gunshot wound? Didn't he just get out of the hospital a couple of days ago?

I thought that too when he was beating up Owen. I can never tell how many days go by, or if it is still one long day. Sometimes people are saying it is late or going to bed , then you see a scene where they are having dinner or something.

And the age thing. No one really is the age they are suppose to be are they? Look Will seemed to say 2 years old forever. And all the others became teenagers and passed him.

I think Owen would have made a nice Brady... To bad we won't be seeing him anymore.

I remember when he was born in the 90's. IRL, he would be in his teens, but SORASing (Soap Opera Rapid Aging Syndrome) has made him much older.

Heck, EJ was born in the mid/late 90's- he should only be middle school age by now, and he is older than Sami, who was born in the mid 80's!!

Isnt it funny the stupid things that stick with us with this show. I swear THIS Phillip has never shown a limp at all. Its like the forgot to tell him he had lost a leg in his previous life.

Yes these scenes are pretty sad.

I totally agree I wish these two couples would go away. But I know Chloe will be around and more in the story line so Kate can get her revenge.

And for Stephanie I am sure in the next few days she will be saying goodbye to Phillip for the gazillion time....

Get the kleenex out because tomorrow is the day poor Grace dies. I think they could have wrote it better and played it out better for more effect.

Most things drag on but they did this so quick. And I know it is hard to have a baby die but in other scenes they used a doll , we all knew it was a doll too but it was some what a real dialogue. Because I know if my child was dying I would be holding her for dear life and never put her down.

I didn't like that they showed Daniel all upset, going to the chapel etc...I didn't want to see him I wanted to see Mia and Will , even Nicole more.
