Daybed question at BCV

Does anyone know if we can close the table on the daybed without opening the bed?
We will be staying in studio in a couple of weeks and will have two ECVs. The rooms are quite small and was hoping we could move the two chairs and put them in the closet while closing the table to have more room to store the ECVs.

I did request a HA room, specifically 228 since it has the huge balcony. We could wheel our ECVs out there to give us more room but in the event we don't get that room or one similar, I want to have a game plan.

Just an FYI as room 260 is our favourite room and we always request it because of the large balcony. But it is not a handicap room. Also, almost 100% sure you cannot close the table.

We were just there and tried closing the table to make space. It will not come down.
