Ok, so I'm in California for work and I may get a break to be able to take a day trip to DL. This is my first time in California and this would be my first trip to DL. The trip would happen in about a week

Do you think I can/should visit both parks or stick with one to see everything there?

I know it's spring break time so how bad will the crowds be? Will I be able to see everything even with the large crowds?

What are some of the can't miss things?

I would be driving from the Ventura/Oxnard area, any advice on traffic and best route to take?

I don't really know anything about DL so I'm just looking for some helpful tips.

Thanks in advance for any help.

Answers to questions about traffic and route and crowds depends on what day of the week. This is California.

As for seeing everything, that is easy. No. Even if you took four days you could not do that. I think your question is really will you be able to do very much. And especially being solo you can do quite a bit in one day.

Learn the single rider lines. You can find info here: * DLR Info/Links - Maps, Hotels, DISer Reviews, Hydroguy's tips, NEWBIE INFO here!

Should you visit both parks? Especially being solo I would say for sure. Especially if you can get there early. It will be tough getting there early on a weekday but you should try.

Awesome! Thanks for the help and the links.

I plan to get there as early as I can. Since I'm not sure when I will ever be back I want to make sure I'm able to get a full experience so I want to get there as early as I can and stay as late as I can.

Thanks for the advice to see both parks I was not sure if would be worth it. I wanted to see both but was still on the fence. Thanks for making my mind up for me.:lmao:
