Grandma took Brittany & her 2 cousins (3.5 & 8) to A Day out with Thomas. It was Brittany's 4th trip.
If you've never gone, and your kid(s) love Thomas the Tankengine, you really should go. Thomas "travels" around the country visiting local Steam Engine places. The kids get a ride on an actual Thomas.
Each event is a bit different depending on who sponsers it. We go to the one in Essex, CT. There are kiddie carnival rides, face painting, clowns, displays, meet & greet with Sir Topham Hatt, etc. The local civic groups have food stands.
I just LOVE the expression on people's faces who are stopped at a train crossing when we pass thorough & don't realize Thomas is in town. There eyes kind of "pop out"& they do that "head shake" like to wake themselves up from a dream.
