Day of fast passes?

What are the possibility of getting fast passes the day of? How does that work or does it not happen during crazy busy times?

I have always been able to add FPs after using the first 3, so starting without you will still get some decent ones. I have never seen SDMT or FOP day of, but I was able to snag a last minute Soarin which made my day.

When are you going, that will make a bit of difference?

I was playing on MDX app yesterday at 1:50pm to see what kind of "4th" FP's I could get. Practice for our upcoming trip because I'm not actually there (don't worry, I released those FPs back into the wild).

I was able to get FPs for:
Epcot: Test Track & FEA (couldn't get Soarin)
AK: EE, Navi, and FOP!!!
MK: Splash, Haunted Mansion, and 7DMT

I had to refresh a million times. I would snag the FP at whatever time it came up and then try and modify to get it to a closer time. For example, I was able to move FOP from 10pm to 5:45pm. I moved EE from 9pm to 3:30pm.
I played with this for about an hour btw but time flies when your planning for Disney!

You can certainly get FP's the day of, but keep in mind headliners might be long gone.

It's rather easy. During major holidays it's a bit harder, but still very attainable. During summer trips, we'll easily go through 8 FP+ within 5 or 6 hours.

Depends a whole lot on how many you need.
Someone looking for 2 is going to have a heck of a lot easier time finding FP than someone looking for 8
And which park. MK has the most, obviously. So they are easiest there.
We can always find some and booking what you find and then modifying for better FP and times is key

Just wanted to second this! Take what you can get, then adjust from there. It works wonders
