I will be there is FEB...first week. We have a day off so we would like to explore the boardwalk???? Where should we eat? We are also up for other ideas as to where to soend the day off!

I am no help on the boardwalk but as far as other things to do on the day off....if you are active duty(or anyone traveling with you is) busch gardens extended the hero salute program another year. You can get in free to sea world or tampa busch gardens. My vote would be sea world because of how close it is compared to BG. Their food is super expensive and they don't let you take anything in though like disney does.

Beaches and Cream at the Beach Club is really fun but you should have a backup since they don't take ADRs and are really crowded sometimes. Swan and/or Dolphin has a similiar restaurant there.

My husband and son really enjoyed the Pizza window at Spoodles.

I personally don't recommend Big River Grille -- haven't had lots of luck there.

If you're at the Boardwalk later in the evening w/o children, try Jellyrolls- the dueling piano bar -- it's lots of fun.

Also, if you don't mind walking, I believe you can walk to the Fantasia mini-golf from the area (it may be a bit far).
