I've never understood this point of view. There will be nearly exactly the same amount of sunshine today as there was yesterday (well, maybe 1-2 minutes more, but only because the amount of daylight is extending at this time of year). We don't get more daylight...all we do is change the hours of the day when we get it. Personally, as a person who must get up fairly early to take her children to school, I was loving the fact that it was sunny at 7:00. Now, it will be closer to 8 when the sun begins shining up here in the cold, frozen northland.
