New to the forums, decided to see if I could answer peoples questions, im currently employed as a Attractions Attendant over at Seuss Landing at If I ran the zoo, The Caro-Seuss-el, and One Fish Two Fish Red Fish Blue Fish. I will not disclose my name for privacy purposes but ill be looking out for all of you!
Disclaimer: This post is strictly for laughs, sometimes we do feel like this but thats because its a general crappy day for us, most of the time we have fun!
5:00 am: I wake up and shower, get in the car and drive to work, picking up breakfast at McDonalds from the cheery Crew there who woke up at 3 am most likely!
6:30 am: I get to work, go through gate 2(employee gate) and head on in to wardrobe, I slowly stroll to my locker slot, hoping for a set of my clothes, as usual their not there so I march towards the clothes counter and request my clothes (btw they wont have my size, so ill have to go down one size and try to squeeze into teeny weeny pants)
7:30 am: I clock in! after making the 15 minute journey from wardrobe to IOA I make it into seuss landing and into the Cat in the Hat/Fish Break room. I grab my squeegee, as my fellow opening fish attendants grab their assigned cleaning tools and off we go to prepare our rides for you!
8:15 am: after cleaning for 30 minutes and sitting down for a few, we are all dispatched out to our assigned positions, as were walking out we spot rain clouds in the sky, hopefully it will rain and slow down the park a bit, but it won't, the clouds will slowly stroll by and head on over to Disney and Rain its little heart out.
8:20 am: we are all at our positions, but the park wont early open till at the earliest, 8:30 and even then! everybody makes a left on over to Marvel to ride hulk and spiderman, and Seuss Landing is left alone...on the right..watching everybody go to the left (this makes us sad, and oh btw were BOREDDDDDD I swear I ended up taking pictures of Ducks walking by with my cellphone while waiting for people.)
9:30 am: Finally! people are heading this way, but the first 15-20 people will fly right on through seuss and head straight to dueling dragons, but eventually we'll get a family or two with children to ride, our first guests of the day!
9:31 am: Because of circumstances out of my control a child has decided to jump off a character at the caro-seuss-el and requires me to Emergency stop the ride, so we'll be down for about 6-7 minutes while we wait for the Tech's to head on over and reset the ride.
10:00 am: Finally my first break! but not before I got asked 10-20 questions on the way to the break room, not that I hate answering questions, anything to stop ignorance or being a burden for someone else. Finally make it to the break room.
