Officially, what is the max # on day guests + # of cars and what are they allowed to do or not do at DVC resorts? I've added people to the room in the past just to get them keys for a day visit, but in this case, I have a higher # by 2 than the room occupancy allows and I don't want to do anything I'm not really supposed to be doing.

Just let the front desk know you have some guests coming for a visit. They'll give you a parking pass for your guests and you should be fine.

Yeah, and there was nothing really clever about the response either. ... But, I'm sure you can find some way to complicate it if you really give it some thought. :teeth: :teeth:

Yeah! Like maybe a minivan with a false floor in the back....guests in face paint and camo....little "Cricket Clickers" and a code to be recognized....the possibilities are endless! :rotfl:

If they are not on the room reservation, they won't be welcome at the pool since the pool is only for the guests staying at the resort.

Actually, they'll be welcomed with open arms... if they have the secret Cricket Clicker code.

We don't use the false floor any more because the gate folks got wise to that long ago. We have them drive a lawn maintenance van with a big trailer full of face-painted intruders. Works much better.

Incidentally...that little parking pass is a wonderful thing for your guests!

One Thanksgiving for lunch/dinner we had eight people in a one bedroom. Only four of us stayed the night.
As other PP have stated, just let the front desk know and you can have day guests without issues.

And if you are not at the BCV's, you won't have an issue at the pools either. They do not check key cards or make much of an issue of it....especially if they are with you (a guest of the resort). SAB is a whole different beast and they will not be permitted in to the pool area. (yes, I am sure some of the "rules" folks will come along to say how wrong this is, but I would sure rather have your guests there then a couple of people that aren't even staying on property ;) )

Kidani btw and there are 2 kids that we are putting on the room so they can swim. I'm assuming adults are allowed at the bar which is all that matters anyway ;)
