Day four had Epcot in store for us. We decided to devote two days to Epcot this year so planned on focusing today on Future World only. We got to the buses by 8 again and to the park, but by the time we got there they had open the gates early. We hurried to get FP's for Test Track and then headed back for Ellen's Energy Adventure. There were probably not 20 people on our tour. When it was finished we headed back to use our FP's and then back to the Wonders of Life to watch Cranium Command. I love this show. Grabbed a quick snack & soda from the counter service there and were off. We checked out Innoventions for a while and then moved on to the Imagination pavillion. I was very happy with the new version of the ride and was thrilled to see Figment back. I thought this was a VAST improvement on the version we saw last year, though not as good as the one I remember seeing as a child with my parents. Messed around in ImageWorks for a while and then were able to walk right into HISTA just as it was about to start. After the show we headed to Le Cellier for our lunch PS (check restaurant review). It was great. I wanted to get a Beavertail for dessert but the stand was closed. While we were eating it started pouring, but it had stopped by the time we got out.

I want to break from my report for just a minute to talk about a negative experience I encountered while at Le Cellier. There was a family in front of us at the check in stand just for the stamp for the passport (which was fine), the CM tried to stamp it on Canada's page, but the little boy refused wanting him to stamp it in China instead. Mind you this little boy probably was only 3 or 4 so no big deal right? WRONG! The mom pulled boys arm and started screaming at him that this was not China and how stupid could he be to have him stamp it in the wrong country....she went on and on yelling all the way out of the restaurant. So, I approached to check us in and the boy came back, elbowed me, squeezed himself between me and the counter and stomped on my feet.....followed the mother who basically did the same thing....telling the CM she wanted it stamped on the correct page (relax woman....this is a restaurant.....) Then she asked me to move so her son could have some room....which I didn't. After all of that was done, she turned around and apologized to me and was out the door. What a fun vacation that kid must have had. The CM apologized quite a few times and then seated us right away.

Back to the report....After Lunch we headed back to future world, but stopped at the Plaza because the Character Caravan was supposed to arrive. Well, because of all of the rain, it was about 15 minutes late, but a CM in the store told me that if I waited a few more minutes it should be coming. By this time most of the crowd waiting for it had left and here it came. DH & I had great photo ops with all of the charaters with short if any lines at all! We had a GREAT time!

Then we headed to the Land got a FP for the ride and headed for Food Rocks. After the show we used our FP's and then up to the Circle of Life show (DH got a good nap in here). Then we went to the Living Seas. This pavillion needs some serious updating. I know there used to be the ride that is now shut down, but it just seems that Disney could do a lot more with the pavillion. As we left the pavillion it started pouring again so we took off in our ponchos. We headed to Mouse Gears and hung out in there for quite a while. As the rain let up a little bit we staked out seats for the first ToD parade. We got there about 30 minutes early and got great seats on the lagoonside between Mexico and Norway. By the time the parade went through there were blue skies. After the parade we headed for the exit and boarded the monorail for MK and E-night! As you remember on our first day at MK it was raining during Spectro, so we thought we'd catch it today. By the time we got there the streets were filled. It was sitll fairly early (an hour & 15 minutes before the parade) but the CM's said they thought there was a bigger crowd because the parade had been cancelled on previous days. Well, I had given up hope on finding a seat on my favorite hub curbside spot, but I saw a small opening on Main St. and figured I could sit there and DH could sit behind me. I asked the family if that spot was saved and they all bunched up together and made enough room for DH & myself. I was so grateful to them! We had GREAT seats while many others were starting to fill in 2nd and 3rd rows. After the parade we headed to Fantasyland and walked on Small World and then headed to Tomorrowland to watch the Fireworks.

We had a blast during E-night. We had never done one before, but it was so much fun! For those of you that aren't roller coaster people and think you won't get your money out of it.....let me tell you, it's worth it. DH and I did Buzz countless times, just walking on over and over......also did the TTA 3 times, caught the Country Bear Jamboree and went on Splash Mountain 4 times with no wait! IT WAS GREAT! On one of the Splash photos we were the only people in the log, so of course we had to buy it! How many times in the summer do you get a photo op on Splash with only your family! What GREAT memories! While we were cutting from Frontierland back to Tomorrowland we jumped in line to get our picture with Mickey and Minnie. Five minute wait at most. CM stood behind us and said we would be the last people before the break....what luck! He took a GREAT picture of DH & I with Mickey & Minnie, which is also a great photo op you woudln't get too many other times in the park. Side note.....as Mickey & Minnie were finishing up with the family a head of us a Dad and his daughter jumped in front of us in line....CM was chasing off other people and had his back turned. The Dad made the comment to the daughter that she could go next because Mickey & Minnie liked seeing kids better than they did Grown ups and then looked at me and said....hint...hint. So when the people in front of us were done he pushed her forwards and Mickey & Minnie just kindly waved her aside and motioned for us to come up, which is when we were able to have our great photo taken. This really made the man mad and he started yelling at the CM about how children should have an opporutinity to spend more time with the charaters than adults having nothing better to do with their time. That's another kid that I bet had a super vacation! Anyhow, we thouroughly enjoyed our time with the characters and weren't going to let that damper our evening. Goofy & Pluto were also posing for pictures together, as were Chip & Dale, but it was break time for them, so we headed back to Tomorrowland. Rode Buzz a few more times, and one last round on TTA and then down Main Street as E-night was ending. We did manage to stop at the Bakery and get a Brownie which we enjoyed eating on a Main Street bench with nearly no one in sight! How Magical! This was by far, my favorite memory of our trip! Afterwards we went straight to the bus stop and had a minimal wait for a bus, which picked up passengers for all 3 All-star resorts.......

Next Day...BREAK DAY!

I love E nights - and a bargain for the money too - thanks for posting!

Wow... sounds like you experienced two pages of the Manual for How Parents Should NOT Act. I'm taking my kids for the first time this year - it might be an educational experience for them in more than the usual ways! Thanks for the heads-up on these things as well as the expected WDW sights.

Sounds like a great, long day! What a perfect way to end your day--on a bench with your DH in an empty Magic Kingdom, how sweet! :D

Your reports are great! I would LOVE to have a picture of myself with Mickey and Minnie--perhaps on our 7/12 ENight I can get one of the family!

Some people really need to learn how to "RELAX" on their vacation! Geeze! Glad others poor behavior didn't take it's toll on you!

Very nice report! I'm glad you were able to get up to M&M and hope that Dad learned a lesson! Some people are just clueless!
