Day crowds during Grad nights

I just realized that one of the days we will be in Disneyland (May 28th) is a grad night. We will probably be going to the park only during the day, going back to our hotel at 8:00pm or so since we have a 5 year old DS. My question is, how do grad nights affect day crowds? Is the park normally more/less crowded or it doesn't matter since the grad night is at night? I was just wondering if anyone knows!

The parks have been busy lately because of the birthday admission and the hotel deals. I assume they probably will be busy because of school groups for the end of school year trips. DCA will be closed early to accommodate the grad night students. From what I remember they let them into DCA while DL lets the day crowd out and then go through final walk thrus to make sure no one is in the park. Normally grad nights have no effect on the day visitors.
