Day 7
Friday, November 4th
I woke up before DH around 6:30am and decided
to enjoy sitting on my balcony watching the sites
and sounds of the Boardwalk hotel for few quiet
morning moments. Oddly enough, it is at these times
of stillness that I find myself loving WDW the most.
The smell of the fresh cut grass and the sound of
happy people, the excitment of the day.
I know it sounds odd, but I enjoy
taking all of these little things to heart sometimes
more than Splash Mountain or Illuminations.
I have seemed to go off track a bit! SORRY!
We all decided to meet a bit later this morning as
we were heading to EPCOT and didnt have any
breakfast reservations or anywhere specific we
needed to be. This was our second full day in EPCOT
and we were going to enjoy it. No rushing to get
Fast Passes, splitting up to see different things. It was
going to be a leisurely day. DH and stopped at the Bellvue
Lounge and got coffee and muffins to go. The SABS were
meeting us on the Boardwalk to walk over to EPCOT together.
We found a great bench and ate our small breakfast with
anticipation that we would be eating so much today
at the F&WF. It was nice to look out and see Crescent Lake
ready for transporting people to EPCOT and MGM the view
of the Yacht Club- one of our favorite resorts!
How wonderful it is to walk into EPCOT and not take
a bus or have to pack up Vincents stroller for the
trip. We made our way to Future World and were
one of the first to ride Test Track, then onto
Spaceship Earth and our favorite Innoventions.
As always, DH and I created the electronic postcard
from EPCOT and enjoyed the segway demonstration.
It was around 11:30am by now and we were all very
hungry and anticipating all the food so we made
way to World Showcase.
We tasted food from Mexico, Japan, France, Poland,
India and so many more. We also tried beer from each
country we ate food at.
By far Japans beer was the best, with France as a
close second. After all the country visiting, it was now
2:00pm, and we had no idea where the afternoon
went. It was so fun not to watch the time and just
eat without counting calories, etc.
We decided that it was time for an afternoon rest.
We headed back to the BWV and took some time to
exercise at Muscles and Buscles, then met the Sabs
at the pool. What great weather and Vincent really
enjoyed the pool.
We had dinner reservations at Wolfgang Pucks
Café for 7:00pm so we decided to meet at the
Swan bus stop for 6:15 and head over to Downtown
Disney together. It was going to be our last night
together with the Sabs as they were headed
home tomorrow.
We were all sad, but made the night so much fun.
We enjoyed our meal and walked all through DTD,
West Side and made our way around to the MarketPlace.
Finally at 11:00pm we headed back to the busses and
shortly to bed. Tomorrow the SABS go home and
we head to MGM again!
