Felt funny this morning not having Jack as our alarm clock, which meant we had to rely on a real one :) got up about 7.45pm had a light breakfast of toast and coffee and got ready to go, everyone was ready and out of the villa for 9.10am.

Got to Discovery Cove for 9.50am, nice welcome I must say got our passes with our photos on, not too impressed with the photo though  found out our swim was to be at 10.50am so we got shown briefly around by a very nice young lady and was shown where to collect our wetsuits etc, this seemed to take forever which was the only downside of this park, in the end after waiting for half an hour and only literally moved 20 steps forward I had to ask a member of staff to help, seeing as it was now 10.35 and our swim was at 10.50am we needed our equipment, she was very helpful and took us straight to the front of the queue to get our stuff, much to other peoples disgust - ooppps !:(

Well we soon got changed into them, the good thing about these wet suits they don't half pull you in, its a shame I can't get one a little more discreet to wear all the time ;) ;)

Well the time soon come around and we all went to meet our dolphin "Lester" who apparentley is the dominate one (just the way I like my men - lol) our trainers was Amanda and Skip, very friendly especially Skip, he put us all at ease straight away especially Billy who was quiet frightened to start off with, well it was mine and Billys turn to do the tricks with Lester and all I can say is that is absolutely BREATHTAKING and worth every single penny and more we were in the pool for about 50 minutes but it only felt like 10 the time just flew by but Steve and Phil was on the side taking plenty of photos and camera footage. Once we finished we went to have a look at the professional photos which were taken, I could have easily bought the lot but they were quite expensive - so we decided to be sensible and go for the middle package with 2 extra keyrings and the total for that was $80:eek: which was only 4 photos and 4 keyrings.

We were still on a high when we went to get something to eat, I know for sure the experience will last forever, its a shame steve didn't do it with us and he is sorry he never as well.:( :(

The lunch was scrummy, I had tortilla wraps with chicken and chips I think while the others opted for burgers.

Found a space on the beach to put all our belongings down, Phil decided to stay and look after the bags and also have a nap, this sort of thing is not him not a big water person, so he was quite happy just sitting there, as for the rest of us we went straight to the coral reef to do some snorkeling this was amazing, also the water was freezing at first but you soon forgot about it when you seen all the different types of fish and the colours of them, some of the rays were massive, Billy loved snorkeling, and seeing as he's not a strong swimmer I thought this might frighten him but it never he just got stuck in. After about an hour I was getting all wrinkly so I thought I'd so a bit of sunbathing and let Billy go off to the ray pool with Paula, he was in there for a good 2 hours, even Paula had to come back after about an hour, but Billy just stayed in there, he literally came back blue but wanted to go back but I dried him down instead and said enough was enough.:D :)

We went to the avery, I hate anything that flies I get really nervous, if its in a cage I'm fine but when we entered they were all different types flying all above us, not a good idea for me to have gone in, one came straight at me and I had a panic attack    I soon found the exit and left them in there, found somewhere to sit and had a cigarette to calm my nerves down. They came out about 30 minutes later laughing at me screaming earlier on !!! charming.

Time to leave discovery cove and head back to the villa, quick shower and change and then back out for 6.45pm to go and pick Jack up. Went for a meal at China Jades on International Drive with steves family, me and steve didn't rate this that much, we are fussy buggers though when it comes to chinese and indian food, went back to their hotel and sat round the pool having a dring and a laugh while the kids played.

Collected all of Jacks thing and headed back to the villa, got back at 11.40pm and all of us went straight to bed, to dream about the dolphins !!!

What a brilliant day !!!!!!!!!:bounce: :Pinkbounc :bounce: :Pinkbounc :bounce: :Pinkbounc :bounce: :Pinkbounc I would definately recommend everyone to do this.

Another great report. Thanks for sharing your experiences with us.
Yes, we agree, DC is something special and an experience that people should try, at least once.
Sounds like you had great weather too.
Looking forwrad to your next installment....

Hya mate, your'e doin' a great job chuck - I have my diary at home of the whole experience and I was thinking about doing the reports, but as you have started (and doing such a super duper job) I'll just enjoy reading yours LOL! Your right about DC - if I went back (sorry when!) I would consider doing maybe 2 days at DC and forfeit a couple of parks. This had to have been the best day ever.

Keep up the good work matey- tell Steve to hurry up with that video!!!!!!!!!!!!!
