We must have slept in until at least 6:15 on Saturday morning. Then we skipped breakfast and headed to Animal Kingdom. The bus ride wasn't bad, never really had a bad transportion problem any of the time we were there. It helps knowing what to expect and knowing what other stops the bus is making. Got there a few minutes before it opened and then did the dino ride first. My oldest daughter and I had been to AK in Nov. of 1999 with her high school band (I got to go as a sponsor since I was the Band Booster Club Vice-President). My hubby and youngest daughter had never been so it was fun showing them around. After the dino ride we did It's Tough to be a Bug (one of my favorites). No wait at either ride. Next we walked fast to the rapids ride but it wasn't opened yet so we went to get a safari fast pass. Walked back and did the animal trails and then walked right on the safari ride. Got a fast pass for the rapids and then did more animal trails. Our youngest does not like water rides so she did not do the rapids but watched from the bridge. What happened to the squirting elephants? I told her she could control them from the bridge but it wasn't there. That was one of the funnest things when we came with the band. There were 150 kids and it was great fun to squirt them as they were finishing the ride.
Some time during the morning we had cinnamon rolls for breakfast. The last thing we did was to check out Camp Mickey. We were done with all this by the time we had PS at Rainforest Cafe which was about 11:45.
Then we ran into problems. Everybody had to wait in the same line. It didn't matter if they had PS or not. By the time our name was called we were the 2nd in line from the front so we would have been called in soon anyway. We managed ok but some people were really letting the staff know how they felt about this. I felt the same way, we just weren't as vocal about it. MGM was much better about PS. If you didn't have one you had to wait until there was an open time. When we were there it would have been a 3 hour wait at the Sci-Fi without a PS. The Rainforest Cafe seemed to let everyone in with or without a PS (and they were very busy).
After lunch we bought a few more presents for the poor folks back home who didn't get to come with us. Then we headed back to the hotel. I, of course, went swimming again. I couldn't seem to get enough of the pool at the BC. I did try to take a nap but I felt like I would miss something if I slept.
That evening we went to Downtown Disney to look around since we had never been there. Our bus schedule was a little messed up because Vice-President Cheney was at the Y&B Club for a conference to help the Florida governor, Jed Bush, announce that he will run again. Lot of traffic around our resort and a lot of men in suits but we never saw the VP. They closed the BC parking lot and bus stop since they were parking there so we went to the YC bus stop.
After shopping, and spending more money of course, we went to the Grosvenor Resort for the Murder Mystery Dinner Theater. Dinner was ok and the entertainment started out slow but it ended up being pretty funny. Our girls had a great time. The performers mingled in the audience so the girls got to be involved some. Walked back over to Downtown Disney (basically just crossing the street) and caught a bus back to our hotel. Our show was at 9:00 so it was late by the time we got back to the room. We finished packing our main suitcases that night because we were leaving for the Disney cruise the next day and they were picking up our luggage early in the morning. Total exhaustion is setting in but I planned on resting on the cruise.

Well now I can't wait to find out if you did actually rest on the cruise! lol...Great report!! Thanks for posting! :)
