3rd day
This is going to be another Epcot day. DB, who is still kind of commando, strikes out early and eats at Fountain View. Hot croissant fresh out of the oven with jam. He has raved about it. The rest of us mosey to the food court. DM and I share a ham and cheese omelet. DS has one of his own and DBF gets the mickey waffle. We love their omelets! DBF is happy with the waffle and bacon, but says "it ain't banana stuffed french toast!"
Like I said, we are Moseying today! We take the bus to MGM, then the friendship boat to Epcot WS. We spend a bit of time checking out the topiary's for F & G in England and Canada waiting on WS to open. We then head over to spend some time in France at the perfume garden. We piddle around, then decide it is once again HOT. We head back to France and pretty much walk into Chef's de France for lunch.
Our server is Keveen, such a sweetie! He brings our drinks quickly, I guess he can look at my beet red face and know that I desperately need hydration! DS and I both order the French Menu, French onion soup, croque monsier and creme brulee. DBF orders the quiche, DM orders lobster bisque and DB orders the goat cheese salad with walnuts. It was DELICIOUS! the soup was absolutely divine, it is amazing that a ham and cheese sandwich can be that tasty! The creme brulee didn't really rock my boat that much. Mom loved the bisque and DBF and DB both were happy with their selections. DM and DB ordered the profiteroles to have with the rest of us having the brulee. WOW, my mom is still talking about them. We have ADR's already for Chef's at supper during
free dining! We can't wait!
After lunch we went back to the resort and swam, kicked back and just relaxed in the atmosphere. Supper at the Food Court for all but DB. He went to DTD and ate at Raglan Road. He was less than impressed and did not even suggest getting an ADR for here during Free dining.
