Monday at Sea. I had ordered room service for the girls for breakfast as we had to be up by the goofy pool by 8:00 a.m. for hair braiding. Breakfast arrived at 7 and they ate and off we went. Both girls got their hair braided at the same time. They were done by 9:00 and into the pool we went. There are not that many people at the pool at 9:00 which makes it really nice and they were done swimming by 10. Bob was up and moving and off we went for another breakfast at Topsiders. Breakfast is great up there, and more choices then room service. The girls and I were soon off to a princess autograph session at 11:30. The boys were still sleeping so I sent the girls to the club and told them to check out after Bingo and meet us back at the room at 3:15.
Bob and I were off to the Asian Buffet at Parrot Cay. Great food and build your own stir fry was great. Next we were off to Deck 10 for some sun. Very crowded up there today but we found 2 loungers that someone was just leaving. We last less then an hour...but it was plenty of sun. We headed back to our room to clean up and I needed to get ready for Tea with Wendy with Grace and Corrina at 3:45. Bob was going to see the movie Haunted Mansion at the Buena Vista Theater. He loved the movie options all week. Tea with wendy is cute and does not take that much time, the most time is spent waiting your turn to get your picture taken with Wendy. The Last cruise I did not let the girls sit around to get their photo taken...so that was the main reason we did this again this trip...because the girls remembered.
I stopped by Guest Services after tea and picked up the girls pillowcases. This is a wonderful treat for the girls...when the boys saw their pillowcases they wanted me to get them some..to late maybe next trip. Back to the room to dress for dinner...we had the Castaway Club Reception so it started at 5:15. We got in line to go in...it was well attended...the captain said their were over 800 members aboard this trip. There were plenty of drinks...alcohol and non-alcohol. Line snaked through
Rockin Bar D....I was holding 3 drinks 2 girls' and mine and was expected to stay in line to hold their plates as well. I set them on a table to free up my hands and went back in line just a little behind where I had originally been standing...and the grouchiest grandma miserable woman from California said "after all this is Disney" She was the rudest most godforsaken women I have ever met....was not the normal happy person you find on Disney....but some how she felt the need to be rude ....clueless and the only sign of rudeness on the entire week of cruising....the poor woman thought she wouldn't get enough food...it was pathetic...
Believe it or not there was plenty of food and drinks for all the members and then some for 2nds and thirds....but we could not stay and play after the captains speech...we had early seating. So we left our coconut for the mean lady. But for the rest of you know that there is plenty for everyone no need to worry or be unfriendly.
We had our seating tonight at Animators Palate and the kids were excited for their dad to see the show for the first time. It was wonderful and fun.
One thing I noticed this week was that they really pushed beef this cruise more so then sea food....last time everything was seafood...this time the servers always recommend Beef over everything else.
Another thing I noticed this trip is that the boys enjoyed the teen group more then last and loved the stack. On our cruise there were 371 teens onboard...and they were everywhere...I think at night they ran the boat when everyone else had gone to bed. My kids had fun. I did hear from them that there was some underage drinking which might have caused problems.
Overall a perfect day at sea and St. Maarten was on the agenda for tomorrow. Much much more to follow.
