As we've seen no reports of contracts passing or being ROFR'd since 9/7 - I don't think it means much more that whoever is supposed to be doing the ROFRs is doing something else (or Disney decided that making people wait the full 30 days would help make resale a bit less attractive, and they are punishing us for the gall of not buying direct.)

If we had seen numerous other newer contracts than yours being passed on last week, I might start to wonder what's going on.... but we didn't.

I'm right behind you at 21 days. May we see a flurry of releases shortly!

I think there may be a very good reason for the delay.

About 2 weeks ago DVC sent out a mailer soliciting current members to purchase add-ons at sold out resorts. It's entirely possible that DVC is sitting on contract submissions while they gauge the response to the sales offer.

If DVC gets commitments to buy 500 BWV points with a February Use Year, they go through the contract submissions in-hand and ROFR on the "best" 500 points worth of Feb contracts.

We did not get a mailer, we got an email and thus possibly you have to be registered on-line and have given DVD an email address to get it.

I'm not feeling too optimistic with the email offers and the long wait. Sounds like they are making some changes.

I didn't get the mailer, but... I never read of owners at my resorts getting it. I think it was targeted. Lots of BWV members reported it, but I don't own there so....

Have you reached out to the closing/title agency directly? Sometimes they're not timely with notifying you.

I called about our last resale in April, was told they didn't have any information only to find out the next day we passed ROFR 2-3 days earlier.

You may be working through the system.

I got an email from DVC store today that we passed.

Submitted 9/12 and approved 9/21 at DGC.

$88 a point for 210 points.
