Yasmin : Cuthbert's niece who has come to help care for the children.
Decided to spend the day at the Magic Kingdom as this is the day all the happy persons are coming. Took the car and after several near misses with persons driving on the wrong side of the road we arrived safely at the parking place. The hired help tried to guide us to a space but we went were we pleased. This seemed to upset him a little so I opened the window and told him, "Today is happy day so please be so." When we got out the car we herded like cattle towards a person carrying boat. I asked for a private yacht but was that none were available. So, against my better judgement we boarded. We managed to go upstairs and find a quiet bench. I told the persons that Cuthbert doesn`t travel well and they soon moved. True to my word Cuthbert vomitted violently over the side. Luckily he managed to avoid anyone below. I gave a hankerchief to get cleaned up. He seemed a lot better by the time the boat started moving. During the crossing I pointed out that we were passing our hotel. Cuthbert failed to notice as he was vomitting again. I think the rough seas were due to the tide coming in.
When we arrived we were herded off again and told we had to queue to get in. We then had to queue again to hire a buggy(stroller to you persons). We received a big burgundy contraption. Yasmin found it hard going but she managed, bless her. I apologise for not meeting all my chums at Cinderellas castle. We got there at 9.35am and the hired help refused to put out a loudspeaker announcement to say I had arrived. I thought these persons were there to help you. I explained I had spoken to you all on the DISniers board and you wanted to meet me but it made no difference to her.
We headed up to Splash Mountain to collect the days fast passes. I only managed to get one each which was disappointing as I thought you could get lots at a time. On arriving there I noticed that most persons were dressed like me, in RED. I thought they had been spying on me to see what I was wearing. They all had slogans on them and I never did find the Magic Queendom area. Cuthbert and I decided to try Big Thundering Hill. Cuthbert lost his hat and started to panic as he only brought two with him. When the train stopped he went to retrieve it but was stopped by the hired help. I told him we would purchase another and we did, a huge big Goofy one. It suits him far better than the flat cap he normally wears. We went for a cup of tea to calm him down.
We then headed for Fantasy Land. We took the children on the tea cup ride. Yasmin, bless her, stood at the railings to take our picture. Cuthbert vomitted straight after he smiled. Yasmin wanted to go on so she did, by herself. We exchanged buggy with a nice blue one that was parked next to ours. We left the bags and drinks because we had our own. The children liked this one much better. We headed for Winnie Pooh ride after shouting to tell Yasmin where we were going. I was absolutely horrified when the hired help stopped me taking the buggy up the disabled ramp. Amos had fallen asleep, bless, and I wanted to take the buggy on too, and Yasmin hadn`t appeared yet. So after a few angry words Cuthbert and I took Dixie on and left Amos outside. We knew Yasmin would find him eventually.
Cuthbert and I had been looking forward to riding the Snow White ride but there was a warning sign saying that the ride could scare anyone over the age of 8!!!! We sent Yasmin on with children, she said we would be fine. Cuthbert was terrified, bless, he wretched a few times but didn't actually vomit. By the time we got off he was a quivering wreck so we took a photograph of him.
Next it was our fast pass return time for Splash Mountain. I requested a seat at the front to get a better view. The children would have loved this. I DID NOT. My hair extensions were ruined and Cuthbert vomitted after going down the big hill. I was annoyed at getting wet and exhausted from the walking so I decided to leave the others and return to the hotel.
I risked the monorail and returned quickly to the Grand Floridian. That is when I realised that the car key was in my pocket. I got on the next train and returned to Magic Kingdom. Once again I was herded onto the boat like cattle and then I went to locate the car. It only took me 3 hours to find it. I was so glad we put the huge lime green ribbon on the roof. I must have taken a wrong turning when exiting because before I knew it I was at the gates of Epcot. When I finally returned to our room it was 10pm. The children and Yasmin were asleep and Cuthbert was having a whisky to settle his stomach. I was so exhausted I went straight to bed.
