Davy Jones Lives in PA!

There's a small article in our daily paper that Davy Jones of The Monkees owns a horse farm in Pennsylvania. I assumed he lived in England, not that I really gave it alot of thought. Pretty good photo of him online at Philly.com for those of you who like him.

I was just thinking the other day as the radio station played a Bobby Sherman song, I wonder if he listens to 60's music & if he hears one of his songs on the radio, does he sing along? I know he became a paramedic. For people who were one hit wonders or who eventually changed professions completely after a few years being famous, it must seem like they lived a whole other life. Didn't the lead from Van Halen also become a paramedic?

And Eddie Haskell became a police officer.

I don't remember ever hearing that Eddie Van Halen, David Lee Roth, or Sammy Hagar ever became a paramedic. As far as I know they're all still around as rock/party scene celebrities to some degree. But I suppose it's possible. Kind of like Brad Pitt becoming an architect just because he is interested in it.

Yes, there was a new Biography on the Bio channel the other day. It mentioned that he lives in Central PA with his horses and a pic of his house and a church he is renovating to use as a community play house for stage performances. A quick google search says "Amish Country" and another says "Beavertown PA"

Well, my husband has this theory that I wanted to move to Tucson just so I could stalk Paul McCartney at his ranch. It wasn't THE reason that we now live here, but I will admit that I did some research and found the longitude and latitude of the location of his ranch, the address, and the exact distance from our house to his. No, I have no intentions of stalking him.
