Hi Disney Lovers

Can anyone tell me any experience of Davy Crockett Ranch im going in 6 Days!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Cant wait

Weve been to the Santa Fe New York and Newport Bay in the past but cause my eldest DD is 12 and my youngest DS is 3 we would now need 2 rooms in them hotels so we opted for Davy Crockett Ranch and are lloking forward to the ranch idea but worried about being away from the main hub!!!!

Also feedback on breakfast and how you get it and how much there is would be great - i know theres reviews on sites but i like to get peoples direct experiences-

Also anyone got any idea how busy it might be and idea of queue lengths at half term????
Sorry asking for a lot just got so many things i wanna do to make it a great Break

:cheer2:

We loved Davy Crockett Ranch when we visited there and it would be our first choice of stay in subsequent visits.

Breakfast choice was excellent

Have a look at the DCR FAQ here and a link to our trip report here

Because you are still classed as being on-site you have all the benefits of sending your shopping back to your hotel (re DCR shop) and have character and CM games in the evenings. The restaurant is visited by characters as our photos show :goodvibes

Hi,

Stayed at DCR last year. It is a nice place and can be a nice change away from the hustle of the parks. I take it you will be driving otherwise you can't get to the park from Davy Crocket!

Regarding breakfast, our party of 2 adults, 2 children got a large baguette, a couple of croissants each, a litre of arange juice and various packets of tea/coffee/sugar/butter and jam I think. Also got a carton (1 litre?) of UHT milk. The cabins have a microwave and fridge and the shop sells a variety of foods. Most of our party are rather fussy eaters and we managed not to starve! In fact we had a much harder time getting fed with a non cooked meal this summer when we stayed at Sequioa Lodge. The breakfasts are obtained from a little hut at the entrance of each circular "trail". You can get a good layout of the place by looking in maps.google.co.uk (or Google Earth - same thing really). Type in disneyland paris and it should find golf disneyland. Zoom out a couple of clicks. DCR is just south of Bailly Romainvillers, right next to, south of, the A4 autoroute (E50). You will see several circular "squiggles". These are the trails. It connects to the D231 at a roundabout. If I remember correctly, it is exit 13 with the parks being on exit 14. If you find Villeneuve le Comte, you have gone too far south! The satellite images are really nice. The shop and swimming pool/restaurant are at the end of the road, right near to the A4. The parks are to the north, slightly west, in the big circle road.

Hope that helps and have a fun time.

Regards

Tosty.

Hi
Our first experience at DLP was at Davy Crockett Ranch although it was 8 years ago.We went in our caravan which apparently they don't do anymore,so can't help with the breakfast.
The range is fab and there is loads to do.
It was pretty quiet when we went(late Sept, early Oct) and at times we had the characters more or less to ourselves. There was loads of character interaction in the ?main square and one evening there was three characters, Goofy,Tigger and Woody and they seemed to spend ages with everyone(we have some fantastic dvd footage)
It really was a lovely place to go back to after the parks and I would wholeheartedly recommend it.

Have a lovely time :wizard:

As others have commented it is a great place and we had a wonderful time this summer. My only downside was the restaurant is self service but they reccomend you reserve a table or you wouldnt get one. The food was good and reasonable.
The swimming pool and jacuzzi are great and the dlrp video doesn't do it justice.

We started visiting DAvy Crockett because we were a family of 5 & wouldn't fit into a Disney bedroom.

We visited last year by choice as there were just 4 of us. But DD15 & DS13 didn't want to share a bed & we wanted a separate bedroom!

Will def visit again.

I'm sure your kids will love picking up the breakfast from the hut.

DC has one of the best if Not the best pools at DLP. We used it every day last June.

We also ate at the evening buffett next to the pool which we found good value. Also characters come around & CMs to entertain the kids.

If visiting the Disney village on an evening you park in the new multi storey car-park. If you vist the security office on the return to the car park & show your on-site voucher they waive the parking fee. Parking at the parks during the day is free too, you just show your ticket which says you are a on-site guest & the days you are staying, You get this at check-in.

Don't forget to get your shopping delivered to the on-site shop. Mention you want this at the till. Especially good for ride photos to stop them getting damaged. My DD especially loved this
